This filter gets the job done!

Removes chlorine smell etc.
Been using some version of this brand of shower filters for years. Lasts a lot longer than they recommend, and I no longer try to refill as water deposits make that problematic. I probably go a couple of years or more, but that is up to you. Easy to install on usual 1/2" FIP shower fittings, and the filter has a rubber washer so no need for pipe dope usually.

Ok but
Works well as far as I can tell using the poor test kits bought online, can’t justify a $100 full lab test. The flexible joint doesn’t allow much movement as it is so short. The unit is quite heavy so if you hang it from the shower head it may cause fatigue of the slim pipes used for those (ask me how I know 😳). See second pic for how I had it first time around. It’s also a bit tricky to undo the end to replace the cartridge especially if you have wet hands. I ended up adding an extra length of hose and a couple of plastic clips to hold it against the shower wall down low to prevent any tension on the shower head pipe. See pic. Nevertheless good value given the competition.

Worked but leaked water
No matter what we did it leaked water out of the top screwed on portion where it connected with the wall piece. Took it off and reconnected the shower head to the same piece and no leaking so it was the filters poor threading

Great Fit and Water Quality Booster
Fits our RV shower hose and helps with campsite water quality. It keeps the shower cleaner and our body health good

Too Heavy for Handheld shower head
Doesn't fit my Delta handheld shower. After attaching, it makes the handheld so heavy that it doesn't stay in the holder. If you only use your handheld shower by hand it will be fine. But, if you mostly keep your handheld in the holder you will be sadly disappointed.

I like the filter. It prolongs the life of hair dye. I gave a 4 star rating because the app is not available on Google Play in Canada.

Received first item, it was resealed (basically someone returned it) and the filter clearly looked like it was used. Was unable to open the product entirely to even check the cartridge. Replacement came in, and the cartridge was wet, clearly used as well. Buyer's beware.
