LED Digital Wall Clock with Large Display, Big Digits, Auto-Brightness, 12/24Hr Format, Modern Electric Small Silent Wall Clock for Living Room, Bedroom, Classroom, Farmhouse, Kitchen, Office - Red

I needed a new clock to mount on the wall in my garage/work shop after my old clock died. Unfortunately I no longer possess the eagle vision that I remember having from my youth so I was looking for something that was easy to read from the opposite side of the garage. At the same time I didn't want something obnoxious that stood out like a disco light. Finally, to handicap my search even further I am also.. lets just say.. frugal. Needless to say I did not have the highest of hopes entering into this endeavor as I figured my requirements were all contradictory. So imagine my surprise when I discovered this clock! It is super easy to read because the digits are large and high contrast. It is not obnoxious because it dims itself if it is dark and brightens up when it is light so that the brightness is always the perfect mix of being easily visible without blinding you. The bezel is minimal so all you really see is the numbers making it even more able to blend into the background. Finally, it was reasonably priced. Even for a cheapskate like me I would consider this to be a very good value. As for things I don't like... There really isn't anything. Some people have complained in the comments that it is annoying that it has to always be plugged in. That is because this is a big LED display which would obliterate batteries in short order due to the minimal but continuous power draw. If you want a battery only clock you would have to go with an LCD clock which is much harder to read in low light conditions which is not what I was looking for. This clock simply uses a standard USB charger plug to operate so it is probably drawing less than 1 watt. It is not a power hog- it just isn't appropriate to run on batteries only. I have been super happy with this clock and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks in person and how perfectly balanced the light output is. It was literally exactly what I was looking for. If you think this clock would work for your situation I would highly recommend you buy it. I very much doubt that you would be disappointed. I hope this helps!

I love this little clock! I needed a clock for my bathroom that could be read in the dark. I didn't want to spend a lot as it's just going in my bathroom and this little clock filled the bill. It's inexpensive, light, easy to get up and running and the digital numbers are offered in different colors. I chose the blue light and I'm very pleased with it. I find it very calming. Another aspect of the clock is the light sensor which works very well. It gets brighter during the day so the numbers are easy to read and dims to a pleasant level in the dark. I also liked the fact that I could either hang it on the wall or place it on a counter. I chose to place it on my counter. It plugs into the wall but has a back-up battery in the event of a power failure. All in all, I love it and am very happy with it. The price is right and the quality is great.

Love this. Came with back up battery, but if you need to replace you’ll need a TINY little screwdriver. Intuitive to adjust time and color. Know that the gradient color is random and keep changing every few seconds. You can’t set the two colors of the gradient, they’re random each time. I was hoping for the blue gradient shown in the product image, but settled on the solid blue instead. The ambient lighting function works great.

This is a great digital clock. Big bright digits, easily readable for vision impaired people. Only one thig needs fixing is the 3-level brightness sensor... the night level is way too dim, and it defeats the purpose of readability at night for vision impaired people. The manufacturer needs to put a switch to disable the sensor... or remove it altogether. I found a quick solution by shorting the sensor leads, gaining full brightness all the time. This way it is a great, useful clock. Sorry, but only 4 stars because out of the box it is incomplete.

this clock is small and does not take up too much room but the numbers are very large and easy to read (a perfect setup). The has several options to place on a surface or mount on a wall. Also available in different colors of the numbers that change brightness from daytime to nighttime. I liked the clock so much a bought a second one!

Just as expected! Easy to hang. Auto adjust for brightness is cool feature.

As a basic, no frills clock, it works just fine. The numerals are large and have sharp edges. Even with smudges on my glasses I read it easily from forty feet. It is light weight and may be readily held by simple wall anchors, even perhaps push pins. It generates virtually no heat that I can feel. Now for the downside. The circuit, that selects from a few brightness levels, is very simplistic, too simplistic. Where mine is temporarily installed, the light sensor receives light from four sources during daylight, and between one and three sources before lights-out. These sources include reflective surfaces. Thus, throughout a day, numeral brightness changes often, particularly in the morning and near sunset in a windowed room. Be prepared for those changes. Had I mounted it to a wall initially, I'd be spackling useless wallboard holes because of the brightness variation. UPDATE: After using it for months in a non-air conditioned room, I find the clock 's internal reference oscillator (timebase) is temperature sensitive. Compared to another clock, which is synchronized to an national atomic time standard (via VLF radio), my newer wall clock gains or loses up to three minutes over a few weeks. Thus it can't be relied upon for accuracy and must periodically be reset.

Funciona a la perfección, se ve la hora perfectamente en la noche y trae batería de respaldo

Extremely pissed off with this product, as I put the adhesive on the to hang and then tried plugging the clock in the supplied adapter that didn't fit. Then tried brand new battery and it didn't even turn on. What a joke.
