They hold water well, but become expectedly fragile when wet.
Good little pots. They hold water a little better than I like so I poked some holes in the bottom for drainage, since I tend to overwater and I don't want the babies to be drowning. I have a beautiful zucchini baby growing in one of them, and the bottom split open unexpectedly during watering, so I just doubled them up. I'll separate them when I plant her in the big pot, I'm thinking it's good, her roots can roam more easily and quickly if theres a breach in the pot. I haven't had any of the other pots split open. I've transplanted easily a dozen seedlings into these pots this week, and so far all is well. They're a little stinky and fragile when wet, but I expected that.

They work!
These are great... all of my seedlings are starting to sprout now and the pots are holding up perfectly.

Good Value
Great Value for the number of pots received. Perfect for getting your garden starters going. The only downside I found on these, is when cleaning up the garden at the end of the year, these did not disintegrate as they were supposed to. They did not halt plant growth at all, as the plants found a way to work around them. We live in the mountains and have to start our garden in a greenhouse around Febuarary. For the most part they did hold up until planting time which was around mid to late May. I will purchase these again for the next garden.

Seed->Pod->Peat Pot->Garden
Excellent choice for transplanting seeds pods that have grown and need more room for root growth. Depending on the crop, I may have keep the plants in these pots before transplanting to my garden. For the price it is a great option for me since I have almost 80plants that I have started from seed. Seed->Pod->Peat Pot->Garden. The quality is great too. They don't just fall apart when I move them around once watered. I will be buying again! From picture A to Picture B

These are terrible! Don't buy them or put plants in them
These are terrible! Don't buy them or put plants in them. They will break down and rot wayyyy too fast.

Don't Get Them Wet!
Bought these peat pots for seedlings. As soon as wet soil was put into them, the peat pots became so soft and pliable that they basically fell apart. My husband couldn't even pick them up to move them to a holding tray. We resorted to putting the filled peat pots into plastic cups so we didn't have to disrupt the poor seedlings again! I had hoped to use them to start more seeds but not after this misadventure. Maybe it's just me -- but I remember peat pots when I was young and they held up to watering and movement. Not so much with these.
