Beautiful and Comprehensive!
This is a fantastic collection of plant and animal specimen slides. The coverage of life forms is comprehensive, and the slides are prepared beautifully! Most are well-stained, although a few are a little over-stained. And most appear to be the correct species or structure according to the label (as best as I can tell from a quick study). However, I have found a few exceptions in which the label is incorrect or misspelled: Plants slides-22 is labeled "Marcharttis Archegortia L.S." This is probably Marchantia Archegonia, although I do not recognize the Archegonia structures, as compared to images that I have seen in the literature. Perhaps this specimen was cut at an unusual angle or taken from a lesser illustrated stage. 23 is labelled "Marchantia Aritheridis L.S." This is almost certainly Marchantia Antheridia; the structures on the slide match pretty closely with images of this that I have seen in the literature. 30 is labelled "Cyphella of Marchantia Sec" This is almost certainly Marchantia Gemmae in a Gemma Cup; the structures on the slide match pretty closely with images of this that I have seen in the literature. 60 and 61 should be spelled "Stem Parenchyma" and "Stem Sclerenchyma." Animal slides-3 should be spelled "Rotifers." 6,7, and 18 are all labeled "Hydra." I am sure that 6 and 7 are correct but slide 18 has a section of a leech, which is a very different kind of animal. My guess is that this is a section from the common medicinal leech of the genus Hirudo, and the label-writer accidently wrote "Hydra" instead of "Hirudo." 58 is misspelled and should be written "Dense Connective Tissue Section." 89 is labeled "Motor Nerve WM" but this is not correct; it appears to be a section taken from the central nervous system and would not be called a nerve. In comparison, slide 91 shows a nerve trunk and is correctly labeled.

Pretty cool
My son loves these things we sit at the table and switch the slides out and look at them however they are obviously breakable but that's the nature of the product should supervise small children while they use this

Delivers what it promises
The slides arrived in great shape and were immediately put to use by the young scientist in the family. My only gripes are: 1) tiny explanation papers printed in small font - please provide me with a link where I can print the slide names myself 2) no interpretation for what the abbreviations mean, one has to bing them

Aunque algunas láminas no son muy relevantes, el resto es adecuado para las aulas de clase de biología básica. Muy recomendado.

Plants were prepared too thin, destroyed cellular structure. Animal slides are ok
Animal slides are good except for debris. The plant slides are awful. The plants were sliced so thin it destroyed the plant cells..I rate the animals a 4 star and plant 1 star.
