I've been trying to work out how to reduce my cling wrap use for ages. I looked into reusable beeswax wraps, but realised I'd still need to use cling wrap to reheat items. These silicon toppers are exactly what I've been looking for! They work so well for keeping items fresh in the fridge, and then equally well for helping to heat items (I do crack the seal on the topper/hugger to let the steam escape while cooking). And they're so easy to clean (I wash them in hot soapy water and leave them to air dry). The range of sizes included in the hugger pack is excellent--and they do stretch nicely to accommodate a wide range of bowls. I would love the option to order more of one certain size, though--it turns out I have lots of bowls of more or less the same diameter. That being said, I've just bought my second set of huggers and couldn't be happier!

I bought 2 sets of these silicone stretch lid covers, the larger set with various sizes and the small one size set. I mainly use the small ones for covering dog food cans since I have a small dog and the can doesn't get used up entirely for one meal. The only negative is that if you are trying to cover a bowl that has wet sides, these covers will not work. When you take a covered bowl out of the refrigerator, the sides tend to get wet just from the change of temperature and it is impossible to put the silicone lid back on. These covers are easy to use and easy to clean and I am generally happy with the purchase.

This product is exactly what I wanted. I’ve recently been looking to reduce waste where I can and this allows me to continue using those plastic containers that have lost their lid. They are also great for putting on other dishes that don’t have a lid and not use plastic wrap. The size variety is great and the fit is strong and secure. There is a learning curve to how you put them on, but just takes a second to get used to. And keep in mind that if the container is wet it won’t stay on. If you take a container of fridge and it get condensation, the cover won’t grab. But just wipe it off and you’re good to go. The other thing I like is that they are not just for round containers, they stretch to what you need. Very happy with my purchase and may get another set.

Original review on June 6, 2020: Received lids today. Nice that these are BPA free but thought they were supposed to be "Made in the USA" (not China). June 18, 2020 update: I was misled by an earlier review that indicated the product was "Made in the USA". ExcelGadgets clarified this and I have updated my Headline with a correct statement. The product itself has worked OK for me so I will upgrade my rating from 1-star to 3-stars.

These are awesome lids! Work exactly as intended, easy to use and to clean. Excellent replacement for plastic wrap to cover glass or ceramic bowls. For those knuckleheads out there trying to use these to create some kind of vacuum type seal or to seal a sharp edged metal can... well seriously? What do you even say to that. My only disappointment is that I cannot order multiples of any one particular size. The variety pack of different sizes is a good starter, but I could use more small size only. There should be more options for sizes. Great product, nevertheless!

These things are so versatile that I'm going to have to buy more. At first I thought I'd never use them all, but now I'm planning to have different colored sets for the kitchen, craft room, etc. The fact that they can cover pretty much ANY circular-ish object means that we use them for: - open cans - kids' "I promise I'll finish it later" cups & bowls - storage containers whose lids are AWOL - bowls and containers of beads, pompoms, rhinestones, all those little craft supplies that can go skidding across the room - half cut fruits, even the small watermelons! In terms of leaks, they're not as good as a proper air-tight storage container, but they'll withstand a tip-over in the fridge or on the table (probably not a true drop, though). As another reviewer said, you want to be sure they're completely dry, so the silicone can do its thing. My FAVORITE use was discovered by accident, however - you know those cans in the pantry that never stack well, so they fall or just just store them singly and waste space? Cover the bottom ones with these, and the silicone grips the upper ones in place! I made so much room in my pantry, and it looks neat and organized! Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I have several glass storage containers that are in great shape, but I've lost or damaged the lids over the years. Needed something that could work with odd sizes, and these really do. They are like plastic wrap, but long-wearing, not single use. The variety of sizes was helpful, and since each stretches to fit a variety of close sizes, they work with all the containers, from square and round pyrex style, to glass jars. I like the sheer white color. Clean and simple and vaguely see thru. The company's service was prompt, fast. Why 4 stars? If I could give 4.5, I would. My only challenge is that they don't cling as perfectly when the container is wet. If a mist forms on the glass container when you take it out of the refrigerator, the 'lid' slides off if you don't dry everything first. It's a very minor thing, is probably irrelevant if you're using these on plastic containers. Thank you!

This product is great for bowls I no longer have lids for! They do the job nicely! For the most part they do clean easily however I only gave it 3 stars doing to the fact I used it to cover tomato sauce snd like all plastic containers too it stained! I’m sure in top it will come out but I will probably continue to use it for the left over tomato sauce in the future rather then ruin another cover! Other then the staining I’m pretty happy not to waste money buying and using temporary covering every time we eat something! There maybe be more in my future! What I might attempt next time is use a small piece of foil parchment paper or cling wrong under the lid not for sealing but to prevent the stains!

These do exactly what I had hoped. I mainly use them to cover bowls of leftovers, but have also used them on store bought plastic containers, cans and fruit. With the variety of sizes, I’ve always found a size that works for what I need. I’ve had them for a few months and they’ve held up. I always wash them by hand because I don’t think they’d clean or dry well in the dishwasher since they are soft and can’t stand. Overall, I’m happy.
