I always buy Werthers original. The wrap on these are the same color, so I didn’t pay any attention, until I tasted the first one. These aren’t bad, but definitely different from Werthers. These have a much milder flavor, and taste a bit fruity to me, in comparison. These are great, if you aren’t expecting Werthers, but more than a bit disappointing if you are, in my opinion. It was obviously my own fault. I was probably in a hurry and just ordered these by the color and shape, because if you don’t pay attention, they look the same. I will make sure I’m buying Werthers from now on as these have too mild a flavor for me. These are fine and tasty in every way as hard candy goes. I didn’t notice any difference at all, until I tasted them. When I checked, I discovered I’d ordered butter cream flavor, so of course they don’t have a caramel flavor. Totally my own mistake for ordering too hastily. 🤭

My wife adores this candy. We keep a supply available at all times. We used to buy in a local store, but the supply was irregular. This way we always have this little treat available for guests, children and ourselves. Love the chocolate inside the hard candy shell. MMMMM Good.

Not carmel flavored. They have some artificial vanilla or something. Ewwwwwwww. We don’t like em. They look like Werthers. Do not. Not the flavor I expected. The kids won’t eat em! Read the ingredients carefully. But if the flavor is what you want. I’d double triple check first!
