At first I was afraid that the plastic arms would flex too much...but after using for about 50 flies it's not even noticeable. Also includes half-hitch tool which I now like better than whip finishing! Still haven't used the clippers but they are solid.

No worse than my Stonfo Elite. If you're looking for a set it & forget it bobbin holder neither one is it. What you get is one that won't free fall when you let it hang. Any additional tension you need is applied with your palm. Update > To get them to work smoothly Dremel the high spots that lock the adjusting wheel flat then insert one of these ( PeavyTailor 12Pcs Super Slippery Teflon Bobbin Slim Washer)on each side between spool & large washers and the result is as smooth as the Stonfo bobbin holder but you can't accidently move the lock nut. Still like 1/3 the price.

so glad i took the risk on buying these over the other higher end! in comparison these are the same style as other higher priced adjustable bobbins and the side snips are very precise as well as clean cutting! highly recommended

completely useless. there is no way to take apart to put spool on. glued together. do not purchase. spend the extra money and get one from a more well known brand.

It was just what I wanted, but make sure you use all three washers if you expect it to work properly.

I liked everything about it. The bobbin holders work very well and the other tools are great. I wish I had bought them sooner.

if you work with it and adjust it properly it will serve you well.
