I don't know, I don't make yogurt. I've only used it for baking and roasting.

How do I calibrate this thermometer?

To re-calibrate the thermometer, please follow these instructions: 1. Fill a glass with 70% ice, then top it off with cold water. 2. Stir and leave for 3 minutes, then immerse the probe in the ice water. 4. Press and hold the "LOCK" button for 5 seconds, until the reading shows 32°F or 0°C. 5. Press and hold the "LOCK" button for 3 seconds to exit the calibration mode.
