Works very well

Is actually a better radiator cap than the Acura/Honda/OEM was! Replaced my 2008 Acura RDX radiator cap with this one. Not sue if it was the original from when it was new, but it was a Honda/Acura part. This cap is made stronger (Frame and Structure), so it holds onto the radiator better and is less flimsy. It's also got a quality black plastic (at least I think it's plastic) shield around the metal that keeps it cooler and makes it feel more solid when you're putting it on and taking it off of the radiator. It seems to work properly as far as holding pressure while the engine is running, letting coolant into the overflow if the temp and pressure get too high, and then letting coolant come back into the radiator from the overflow as the engine cools down. Something we were dealing with because of a problematic thermostat, and issues with the fan relays. Those were also replaced. It turned out to be a great test. I like this radiator cap so much, I bought a second one a week later. Now we have one for each of our vehicles. I highly recommend it, and consider it an upgrade over the original Honda/Acura cap!
