When I bought my new truck, it didn’t come with a CD player, although I still have tons of cds. This works great and is simple and easy to install. I just plugged it into my truck and the truck detected it and played my cds right away. The sound quality is great through my stereo. Well made for the price, highly recommend.

I liked it because I can use my old cd's in the car now.

I was so excited to get this and it worked great for almost 2 months, then it just stopped working. My car still finds it but it won't play any cd, even ones that I already used in it. I'm so disappointed since this isn't cheap. I wouldn't waste your money, bc you only get 30 days to return and it broke at day 50.

It played up after the first week and it wouldn't reject disc or play at times the worst cd player I have ever purchased got my full refund.

I bought this for my husband's 2019 Ford Escape which doesn't have a CD player. It truly is plug and play. He can control it from the screen on the console, allowing him to skip, replay, etc. And it doesn't matter where you put it--it plays. No skipping, even over bumps. My husband loads a CD and then puts the unit under the driver's seat, but it's also worked from the glove box. Seems to have really good sound, too. Of course, you can't change CDs on the fly (unless you have a passenger), but if you like certain music for your commute or around-town driving, this player is load-and-go perfect.
