These backpacks are excellent for vacation travel and comfortable to wear all day. It is light weight, sturdy and packs a lot of gear. When you're finished using it, simply store it in the internal self contained storage pocket.

I purchases this due to the great reviews and it is the size I wanted. It did not disappoint. It held a light jacket, my water bottle (inside), a snack and a few other small items without being overpacked. The outside mesh pockets for a water bottle are a bit too shallow for me. Otherwise it is a great pack. It's super lightweight but seems durable. I used it for 2 different bike tours and it worked great for me. I'm 5'4" tall, 125 lbs for reference. It is comfortable to wear, no digging. Mine came unfolded and it took me a couple of minutes of examination to figure out how it packed into it's own pouch. Once you figure it out, it's easy. Also, on our Versailles bike tour near the end, it started to POUR. We had about a 15 minute ride to go. The stuff inside the pack didn't get soaked, but was a little damp. Due to the pack fabric being light weight it dried out well over night.

I bought this to go on day hikes as a lightweight way to carry some small items and a water bottle. I am not an every weekend hiker so I didn't want to spend a lot on it. First let me say it is very lightweight and folds up inside it front pocket which is very handy! I was easily able to carry my first aide kit and 2 hydro flask bottles (20 and 25 oz) inside the main pocket with room to spare. I could have easily slipped a small rain jacket or sweatshirt inside as well. The only downside so far is that the bottle holders on the sides are basically useless for the size bottles mentioned above. I tried to use it with my 25 oz bottle and as soon as I put the pack on the bottle fell out and now it has a new dent! Perhaps a smaller bottle or standard water bottle would fit better. But that is really my only gripe! Other than that this packs works well so far!!

UPDATE - Sept 2018 So after 14+ months of owning this bag, I'm STILL rating it a 5-star product! I LOVE the versatility and durability of the bag. Not sure why people are so critical of the craftsmanship. Admittedly, it's not something you want to throw around with your electronics in it, since there's no cushioning, but you can definitely store all of your electronics and MORE in it! And the fact that it lacks cushioning, unneeded bulky material, etc, it makes it ULTRA Portable! I keep it folded in it's built-in pouch, tucked in my laptop bag or in my suitcase. It's super small when pouched. Then when I'm ready to use it, I pop it out, and stuff it full of items I need. One trip, I was at Disney, and used it to carry water bottles, a huge portable battery backup for my phones and tablet, my iPad Pro 12.9 inch and some snacks and an extra T-shirt! It still had room for more stuff! I never feel like anything is going to rip or tear, it is WAY better material than you'd expect for the price! I was going to be happy to get 3 or 4 uses out of this bag, but after 14+ months, I'm EXTREMELY happy with this purchase, and will be buying more as gifts and giveaways when my family needs a way to carry stuff around. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ORIGINAL REVIEW (Jul 2017) AWESOME bag for when you need to carry some items, lightly and efficiently! I can fit my iPad Pro 12.9 inch, plus it's keyboard, and some other accessories. I sometimes use it to offset some items from my checked luggage when my suitcase is overweight! Then it folds up neatly and compactly inside itself!

Nice bag I like the size and shape but be aware it’s NOT WATERPROOF . I brought it to the river with me and all the water seeped through

I got this backpack for a trip to the Southwest national parks. It is so compact for traveling that you can fit it in the little 5 or 6” flat zip close plastic bag it comes in. It’s extremely light and practical. There are two zippered compartment. The large compartment has two sections. One thing I really like about it are the shoulder straps -they are slightly padded, so they don’t cut into your shoulders. I carried a water bottle, some literature, various chargers, earphones and my phone, a kindness bar, snacks, etc. and there was plenty more room. I made the mistake of putting a banana in there, and totally forgot about it. Of course, it was smashed into baby food by the time I found it. However, I was able to wash it out quite easily and the lightweight fabric dried overnight. Some others have complained that the lack of structure made for a bunch at the bottom the pack that hit against your back when you walked. I never found this to be a problem, but I really didn’t carry a whole bunch of heavy things except for the water bottle.

I was looking for a lightweight hiking backpack for my kids for our National Parks trip. We have had these backpacks for about a year now and have used them on many hikes and they are holding up really well. My sons are 7 and 9 so I wanted backpacks that fit them. This fit my 9 year old perfectly. It fits my 7 year old well (it is not too big for his back, which I feared), although the straps fit on the outer edge of his shoulders. (Usually, I fix this by tieing the straps closer together.) I love the water bottle holders although sometimes big waterbottles pop out. The smaller compartment is great for things you want to grab easily. My kids put snacks, a water bottle, and whatever other random "hiking supplies" (hand sanitizer, magnets, magnifying glasses, raincoats, etc.) they decide they need in the bags. We have not had any complaints about carrying the bags when we are hiking, which surprised me. And they are small enough to attach to your own backpack if, for some reason, your child is unwilling or unable to keep hiking with their backpack. Plus, they are lightweight, fold up or lay flat, so they are easy to stuff in a suitcase if you do not need to use it immediately. I would recommend these backpacks.

Great light, compact backpack for day trips, hiking, going to the beach, etc. It fits enough stuff for the day and looks cool.
