The mesh is the finest Ive seen, I can barely make out individual grids looking at it from a couple inches. I have not seen any bugs or even dirt get through this. It does impede the clarity of the window by a noticeable amount though.Hopefully it goes back in stock so I can buy another roll

This is the ultimate screen... if you're buying screen to you know, screen things from entering your home. Yes, it's a little blurry, yes, it doesn't stand up to flying hurricane debris. But it does its intended job well. So far this is the only seller I can find that sells this type of screen, and it actually has a rating: 135 holes per inch, vs the standard 18 holes per inch. Damn thing could almost have a micron rating for the filtration it provides. I have a bug-spawning creek running next to my house, and for years, if I dared Crack a window, I had gnats and tiny bugs that would squeeze thru the screen with no problem. Not today, bugs. Not today. Installs just like any other screen. Would rate it 20 stars if it weren't for the price. I mean, 40 bucks dude? Vs like 12 for a standard roll? I'm all for getting what you pay for, but I'm pretty sure they're aware this is the ONLY available dense screen on Amazon, and they're pricing it accordingly. Time for some competition!

great mesh for window screen replacement. not easy to tear

The weave of the window screen is very tight so I think it will keep out more pollen which is good, however it makes the view blurry compared to the normal window screens. Will take some time to get used to it. Tried to include a picture, but it's too hard to capture such small detail. One roll covered three windows for me. Also, the tighter weave does block some wind from getting through.

It keeps out a lot of dust and nasty stuff. I used to have all kinds of dust and "stuff" on my furniture every time I had my windows open with my store bought screens. This material has prevented most of the dust. The screen does come with several creases when taken out of the envelope. However, if you check the instructions you can lay a damp towel on the screen before installing and with an iron set on poly setting, it takes about 2 minutes to get it back to perfect and then the stretching as you install it in your frame it becomes tight and crease/wrinkle free! This is a great product and worth the money. I've used it for all of my windows, as well as my porch screen door, and the size provided allowed me to install it on my cabin wooden screen doors. If you have dogs I would suggest a screen guard. Not because of its strength, the screen is very durable, but the dark black color makes it look like it's not obviously there. So fido tried to walk through it. So on the wooden screen doors I added a screen guard since it's a full length, although it was kinda funny watching the shock on the dogs face when hit the unseen force field.I recommend this to anyone with allergies or living in a dusty environment. It's durable, effective, and also blocks curious eyes from seeing inside like one can with normal silver window screens.

Installation on this was easy with a kit, and it seems like a good fine mesh. Had to take a star off because when you put it in the window, it distorts how you see through it. My phone keeps trying to correct the image so it's hard to show with a picture. TBD on how much that bugs me and if I'll have to put a standard mesh back on.Update, can't live with getting dizzy looking out the window. It's getting returned and unfortunately I have to buy a normal screen now to replace it.
