Aunque pesada, es perfecta para su cometido. Para hacer zanjas, agujeros, destapar algo bajo tierra, el peso te ayuda a hacer el agujero mas profundo y levantar facilmente la tierra. Ahorra tiempo y esfuerzo. No lo he probado con el suelo seco, pero ahora que esta blando funciona de maravilla. Ya veremos en verano. El envío además muy rápido. Muy contenta con la compra.

A good quality implement, at a decent price. I used it to dig post holes, going down around 2 and a half feet. The only problem is removing the loose earth - I found myself on my knees, first with a trowel and then with my bare hands. No great problem, as I only had four posts to put in. If you have a lot of holes to dig, it may be worth investing in a post hole digger which also removes the soil such as: Draper Expert 10898 Heavy-Duty Post Hole Digger with Ash Handle (other similar products are available!) Even so, this would still come in handy - it made short work of some stubborn tree roots, and is also great at dislodging any stones you may come across. Make sure you're reasonably fit if you're going to use this thing. Don't be fooled by the quoted weight of 3.4kg, this bar must be two or three times heavier than that, and it's very hard work! 'Elf 'n' safety: I would strongly advise investing in a cheap pair of steel-toed safety boots (I picked up a pair for under twenty quid). This tool is extremely sharp and extremely heavy, and we tend to lose concentration when tired... it's NOT something you would want to land on your toes! The same goes for the tamping bar on the opposite end -- if you are tamping, then the end with the blade will be very close to your face. Take care! If I had one criticism of this bar, it would be the very thin powder coating, which began rubbing off even with the relatively light use I put it too, exposing the steel to rust. So my advice would be to clean/dry it off as soon as possible and spray with something like WD40 to keep it in tip top condition. Happy digging!

Sehr hilfreiches Teil bei Grabarbeiten in steinigem Boden. Hätte nicht gedacht, dass das so viel bringt. Flachere Steine kloppt man damit einfach durch, andere hebelt man weg und kann sie dann mit der Schaufel einfach rausheben. Wurzeln haut man auch einfach durch. Sehr empfehlenswert!
