Im impressed!!
After spending several days researching luggage, comparing brands, watching reviews, and looking at everything from budget options to premium brands costing several times more, I decided to take a chance on the Traveler's Choice Archer. Now that I have the suitcase in hand, I can honestly say I'm impressed. The first thing I noticed was the overall build quality. The shell feels solid and substantial, the telescoping handle is surprisingly sturdy with very little wobble, and the entire suitcase feels more premium than I expected for the price. The wheels roll smoothly, the interior is well laid out, and nothing about the suitcase feels cheap. What surprised me most is that I own an older Samsonite that served me well for many years, and the Archer actually feels more substantial in my hands. I wasn't expecting that at all. After all the research and second-guessing before purchasing, I can honestly say I'm happy with my decision. The value for the money is excellent, and I feel like I received a lot more quality than I paid for. My only minor criticism is the Traveler's Choice logo tag on the exterior. The suitcase itself looks and feels more premium than the branding suggests. If the logo plate had a more refined or upscale design, the luggage would give off an even more luxurious appearance. That said, it's a very small complaint and doesn't affect the quality or performance of the suitcase in any way. The only other thing worth mentioning is that the interior shown on the Amazon listing was different from the interior I received. It appears that one of the photos may have been from another Traveler's Choice model. Fortunately, the interior I received is well designed and functional, so it wasn't an issue for me, but I think the product photos could be updated for accuracy. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend the Archer to anyone looking for a high-quality suitcase without spending premium-brand prices.

Zipper binds and splits even when empty.
Perfect size, travels well. Would be great if not for the nonfunctional zipper in the inside. It didn't work from the day i bought it. Working on a warranty claim now. UPDATE, file a claim as directed by the company. Received an email notification that they had 30 days to respond. Never heard another word. It's well after 30 days and i have reached out multiple times. 4/8/23 UPDATE: They finally contacted me and are replacing my suitcase under their warranty. New one arrives today. 4/10/23 UPDATE: New suitcase has a zipper that works perfectly. I even tested it by stuffing it with jackets and the zip worked as it should. I have returned to my 5 star rating.

Wonderful set. Stood up to Airline Checked Bags
I bought this set about 5 months ago but didn’t want to review until it went through checking bags on a few flights. I’m delighted to report they stood up fantastically. I only checked the large one and the small one was suitable as a carry on for both Southwest and JetBlue, which was super helpful. The small one is also surprisingly roomy and I fit a LOT in it, using one of the small pockets for my liquid bag. The hard shell stood up nicely and the integrated TSA lock worked perfectly. I’m very pleased with this purchase and would buy again, but they stood up so well I don’t need to! Small note the little part on the carry one where you can charge your phone is a little gimmicky since you’d need your own portable charging battery and I’d rather use a MagSafe functioning one to charge my phone, or one with a short cord so I could keep my phone in my pocket. It’s a pretty useless feature, as it would be in any brand. I liked how high the carry on handle pulls so I never had to bend over when walking through the airport. The large one doesn’t go out super far, but since the case is large it is effectively the same height. The sizing is great. I was able to put the small on top of the large and secure with a simple luggage strap (that I would have with me anyway to identify my bags at claim) to move around with both together and another few bags for my family as well between the curb and the bag check. I didn’t check the small one but I feel confident it would hold up as well as the larger one. The value is incredible. I spent literally months looking for a set with a large enough checked bag to hold what I needed and a small one large enough to hold the rest that still fit within the most stringent airlines carryon policies.

Light and maneuverable, but scratches easily.
This was the first set of nicer luggage I have ever bought. Prior to this I was rocking an old fabric 2 wheel checked and borrowing my wife's cheap carry on from TJ Maxxx. I was skeptical that these would be better than the cheaper sets you could find at Kohl's or even Amazon, especially since you can get a 3 piece set at the same price. However after doing extensive research, I realized this brand was highly rated and found this model had the best mix of features I was looking for. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this set for the price. The construction seems durable and the shells are sturdy yet light weight. The set looks very handsome in green! I was very happy with the color and the look of the luggage. I ordered the 2 piece set, which came with the smaller carry on and the larger 29 inch spinner. I appreciated the organizational system in both pieces. Both of them have a nice antimicrobial lining. The carry on has two smaller mesh pouches sitting on top of cross straps on one side while the other side is completely zippered off. The zippered off side has a larger mesh pocket and bulky pocket build into the divider (see pictures). There is a long thin pocket that spans the inside hinge of the carry on for long thin items or small items like socks. The checked luggage is huge and has a completely zippered compartment on one side while the other side has compression straps with a huge removable divider with built in mesh pocket that can come out. This divider was so useful and I managed to stuff a 2 piece suit and 2 dress shirts, all on hangers into the mesh pocket of the divider. The larger luggage also has a longer thin pocket spanning the hinge. The luggage is highly maneuverable, the wheels are really innovative. I went into department stores to check out other brands before I made my purchase and the wheels on this Traveler's Chooce were way better than thr single wheel spinners and even better than my wife's Samsonitr double wheel spinners. I was literally twirling thr carry on all the way through the airports in my 20 hour journey from Boston to Malaysia. I could walk, give the spinner a little push and let go to adjust my backpack or check my watch and then grab it again without having to stop walking. The extendable handles were surprisingly sturdy, there were a few times during my journey when I actually used them to lift the entire luggage when encountering a step or getting on or off an escalator and they held up to that abuse so far. I even did that with the checked by accident after getting out of my Uber at the airport and was shocked that the handle didn't break off from thr weight of my packed checked bag, ahich was around 40 lbs. The built in TSA locks work really well and all the zippers are very high quality. No snags and they slide smoothly. I have not gotten a chance to try the expanding feature on either piece but I do not forsee any issues. I tried out the USB charging and it was very convenient although my 20,000 mAh power bank was a tight fit in thenpocket so you might want to use a smaller power bank. My only complaint is that the shell on these cases scratches incredibly easily. Time will tell if this makes any difference to the durability but there were already scratches on the luggage when I unboxed it from thr package. Even when I placed it on a clean bed to examine the new set, it got scratches. Seriously, if I just stare at the luggage hard enough it scratches. I regret not buying one of those socks that fit over the luggage as both pieces are extremely scuffed/scratched after two flights. I know it's luggage and it's meant to get scuffed and used and every scratch is a record of an adventure but I didn't expect it to look so worn just a few days after using them. It's a shame cause they look so good when I unboxed them. 🤷♂️ Oh another related complaint is that there are no rubber feet on the suitcase opposite of the side handle. This combined with thr easy scratchability is going to lead to that side getting excess wear since you are required to put checked luggage on its side when you go to check your luggage. Hope this review is helpful to those looking. If they add rubber feet and make the luggage less scratchable, this would be a home run. Will update this review in the future after a few more trips for long term durability. Cheers, and safe travels!!

The largest, most colorful suitcase ever!
We were trying to find a burnt orange large suitcase to match my husband's (huge longhorn fan) carryon. We usually only use Samsonite but couldn’t find one he liked. I found this on Amazon and it was the largest we could find and the color was perfect for my hubby. We’ve used it 3x now and it’s perfect! Size is wonderful. It holds everything we need, the lock is great, the wheels work perfectly and it’s made it through connecting flights without damage. We highly recommend it!!

Quality luggage
I needed to update my luggage and after much research, decided on travelers choice luggage. I looked at a variety of brands including more expensive brands such as Away. Reading the reviews of that product led me to the conclusion that even the more expensive brands are equally prone to damage so why spend the money? After cross country travel with multiple airplane transfers, the luggage held up great. They are very easy to roll, nice interior features and nest for storage.I did have a problem setting one lock. Since it was still under warranty I called customer service and they were fantastic. They quickly sent a replacement lock.Honestly, I couldn’t believe how great they were. So taking everything into consideration: the price, the quality, and customer service, I couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend this brand for all the above reasons.

Decent Suitcase
Pretty good suitcase, still works after 4 years of light use. The issues I have are that the zippers just don't work really well. Would be easily a 5 star suitcase if the zippers worked, but if you have slightly too much packed the zippers just don't work.

As a frequent traveller and airline employee, I highly approve!
I originally purchase one of the carry-on bags for my partner who does a lot of business travel. He absolutely loves it and uses it often. It has held up well to the stressors of the airport and baggage handling and the looong walks through Toronto airport. Because it was so great for him, when my daughter needed new luggage for college, I trusted the product and ended up buying her the full 3-piece set and it has been serving her very well on her bus travels back and forth to home. As a frequent traveller and airline employee, this product has been my go-to recommendation to other travellers and will be our family go-to when we need replacement luggage. Rolls very nicely and has a nice, comfortable handle, lots of compartments inside, handles extra baggage on top nicely as well. Haven’t used the USB charger port yet but judging by the overall quality of the luggage, I’m sure it will be just fine when we do use it.

Quality luggage
The 29 inch checked in version is quite roomy and has a lot of straps and dividers inside, the quality seems quite nice overall. Only downside is because it's thick and high quality polycarbonate plastic, it is a little heavy, about 5kg, but because of that it also seems to be very sturdy. My trip is in 2 weeks so I haven't used it yet, but I'll update the review if I encounter any issues. Update: I stuffed it to 25kg and it survived some very rough handling by Ryanair with very minor scratches. I also had some electronics in it and they all survived. One thing of note is that the wheels are very smooth even with a heavy load in it, it made handling it in the airport so much easier, overall this is an excellent bit of luggage.
