A Treasury of Bedtime Stories: More than 40 Classic Tales for Sweet Dreams! (Children's Classic Collections)

Bought this for a gift, hoping it was like the 2 we already have and love. The book has poor illustration and not happy with all the stories that are in the book. Wanted to return the book and seller was charging half the price of the book to ship back to them. Donated to our local library and bought a different gift. Would not recommend.

When my children (now 52 and 49) were little I used to read stories from this book to them every night, until they started learning to read for themselves. Then they started reading some of their favorite ones to me. Now one of my granddaughters is expecting her first baby (due in March) and I wanted her to have the same experience reading to her little boy as her Mommy had having me read to her as a child. Don't know what happened to my original copy. I was happy to find this so I gave it to her as one of her gifts at her baby shower recently.

I hope your kid is a genius. Mine is not. The way this is written even I could not follow along.

Hard for me to understand as an adult. Can’t read it to my child.
