I purchased these 12 volt mini lights not knowing what to expect. I wanted to use them for our garden shed powered by a solar panel charging a 12 v battery. They are marked 0.6 watts but I measured a little less. So far I have been testing just two lights ( one over each door ) on a dawn to dusk sensor control. Also, lately the temperatures have been in the teens *F. So low current draw is important for cold battery performance. I will put three inside the shed on a motion control. I used a 1" butterfly type wood drill bit to make a close fitting hole, then push the wires in until the light is flush. The spring tabs hold it in, however I plan on putting a small amount of clear silicone in there to make sure they stay in place. It was easy to do. The lights plug together with a screw cap for water resistance, and over all good quality. Getting back to the lights the color is perfect, not ultra blue-white. I am impressed with the brightness considering the low power. It serves as a good low key security light, that is pleasing to look at.

I recently rebuilt my front porch ans thought lights would be a nice touch on tread risers , i ordered these last night and they got here today .So i jumped right on drilling holes in azek risers , i used a 6ft level and measured off railings to make marks and centered in middle of riser , i installed each light as i went along after i went under stairs to connect each connector together when i went to jump from one side to other i realized the wire was way to short , they only give you about 18" or less of wire !! Now i have to buy wire splice the line to jump over ! I wanna add lights up center and the wire still wouldnt reach !! They should give you an extention wire or at the very least make the wires about 3ft longer and let the customer zip tie the excess or tape it ....other than short wires i like the way they look so far and time will tell how long they last !! They also sit very tight and flush against azek or wood and look neat

Update almost 5 years later:All working (outdoors on deck) and plenty bright still. Proved to be very reliable. Planning on buying more. Very nice, modern looking deck lights. I liked the quality and they were super easy to install. I used them to light the steps on my deck and easily connected them to my existing 12V landscape lighting transformer. The fit is perfect. There is no documentation and there is no need as the instructions are in the box and completely straight-forward. These are plenty bright, almost too bright especially because they are very white but not quite fluorescent white. I was hoping they would be warmer and look closer in color to the other incandescent lighting already on my deck. I knocked off a star for the color and also because of the brightness, especially because I installed two per step and it was too much. They looked so cool when I installed them during the day but then at night I realized it was a little too bright.

The lights were as described, a little brighter than I anticipated, but seller has nothing to do with that. Surprisingly good quality and very easy to install.

They work good so far. Brighter than I thought it would be but it’s nice.

I ordered these lights for our backdoor steps and I have to say I'm very impressed, they are very simple to install using a 15/16 paddle bit took around 30 minutes. Lights came well packaged and shipped fast. I also purchased a waterproof 110v ac remote control power switch with two wireless remotes fobs just to make more convenient.

I installed 9 lights they looked great for a couple of hours then all 9 lights started flashing , I had to unplug them very disappointed.

These deck lights are amazing! Easy install and very bright - great addition to our backyard - would highly recommend!

With winter fast approaching, which means nighttime comes as early as 5pm and lasts until 8am, I wanted to put lighting around my newly built steps so friends, family, delivery drivers, and myself didn't stumble up or down the steps. At first I was a little skeptical at their small 1" diameter how effective they'd be, but don't let their small stature fool you! These little things are bright enough to light most of my 10ft driveway! Well, maybe not that far, but they're pretty powerful! And they were super easy to install. I may be a single woman, but that didn't stop me from digging out the power drill, 7/8" drill bit, and measuring tape to get this project done! It only took me a couple of hours to get it all finished. Then I attached a dusk to dawn powercell so they turn on and off automatically, and I'm the happiest step owner that ever existed!

After leaving my initial review the seller contacted me immediately and shipped a package of 12 lights as a replacement at no charge. It seems the first batch I received was missing some silicone at the inputs and that's why there was some liquid intrusion. A small manufacturing defect which caused the premature failures. I installed 6 of the replacements and they're working as they should and they're all sealed properly. The original 6 which are from Sept 2022 are all working well with proper seals. Generally, these are fantastic little lights. Great intensity and consistent colour uniformity. Impressive value. Thank you for the fantastic customer service. Installed in September 2022 into a wood deck into step risers. Wired into weather proof JBs, turned off during the winter. Went to power up just now (May 2023) and half of them are failed and were filed with condensation. Can't get refund obviously and it seems there's no warranty.

As the pictures show, these lights create nice ambient lightly around the perimeter of the deck. They were very easy to install, just drill a hole through the deck boards, drop the connecting wires through the hole, set the light, then connect in series underneath. Bought two sets to go around and had a couple left over. Good value for the money.

I bought a pack of ten last year for my deck and they are perfect. After a year of use I extended my deck and bought another pack. I was able to daisy chain the old to the new and now I have a lovely lit pathway. Really happy with the three lights. Durable and long lasting.
