Really challenging!
Beautiful painting by Annie Lee but this puzzle was HARD! I like challenges but this one definitely made me work and took me weeks to finish it. I took breaks in between sections and the re-acclimate myself to the new sections (after a while you start to zero in on the details of the colors). Part of the problem is that the pieces look so similar. Anyways, hard but fun. I enjoyed finishing it though I was a little disappointed that a few pieces were missing but that might have been me as I was always moving things around etc. Something this difficult deserves to be framed and so I'll recreate the pieces somehow!

THAT WAS AWESOME!
I absolutely LOVED putting The Beginning of Jazz by Artist: Annie Lee - 1000 pc Jigsaw Puzzle together. The painting is a beautiful water color study of a wonderfully realized possible moment of superb importance in music history and African American history in a beautiful historical setting. By so many metrics this should have been a terrible puzzle and I totally get why people might not like it. I was really put off when I started it and almost sent it back. The image is rather digitized and there was a whole lotta dust. The pieces are odd sizes and shapes and fit together loosely. Lots of them look like edge pieces but aren’t and a number of edge pieces don’t actually connect to each other. (There were not false fits though.) IF, however, you do a lot of puzzles and enjoy a challenge you very well may love this puzzle too. I’m so glad it FINALLY went on sale because I might never have bought it otherwise.

A little thinking outside the box.
This puzzle consist of ridiculously shaped pieces, and the majority of the pieces overlap. One thousand and twelve times I was certain a piece was missing, and each time I was proven wrong. Once I got beyond the bitchin' and moaning because of the nonstandard pieces, I really enjoyed putting this puzzle together. Those odd shaped pieces were quality made and they were all there. I am a fan of Annie Lee's artwork and the explosive colors. I would recommend this puzzle.

Boxed
Great puzzle! However I prefer my puzzles in tin cans, and I have over a dozen in tins. Makes it much easier to store

Different than website photo
This was a difficult puzzle to put together. I was disappointed at the end to find 2 pieces that were missing. I probably would not order from this seller again.
