This lamp attaches with a very sturdy C-clamp. The neck bends and rotates all the way from the base, and it stays where you put it. The touch controls are easy and responsive. I love that there are so many different warmth & brightness settings. I use this lamp angled toward my face for Zoom meetings (instead of getting a separate ring light) in addition to a workspace lamp. I have one at the office and one at my home office desk.

This is an awesome desk light to replace my previous one that took up a lot of space on the desk. This light just clamps to the edge of the table top and has a very long neck that can be moved to light up the areas needed. When I'm done using the light, I like move it out of the way and up against the wall to help "clear up" desk space.It has 5 different brightness levels and 4 color temps. While it would be nice to have a stepless transition, the number of useable options is more than enough for me.

Bright light. Easy to attach to desk, Very flexible

This gooseneck lamp's neck is long enough to allow me to attach it to a stand next to my chair, and then position it directly over my head (to avoid having the light source in my field of vision). The mount and neck hold the position well - even though most of the neck is nearly horizontal, putting the maximum stress on the neck. I can easily operate the touch-pads (without looking) by simply raising my arm and touching one of the two pads on the topside of the light. (One pad controls ON/OFF and brightness; the other cycles through the "colors", and both are positive-acting in that they work consistently without experiencing "double-taps" where a setting would be skipped over inadvertently). I use one of these lamps above my laptop's "desk" (which also serves as a workbench for occasional electronics repairs and similar "fine work". I needed extra light for the fine work, and this lamp works great for the purpose. Sometimes, adjusting the color of the light improves the visibility of certain parts by improving their contrast against adjacent items; this is very helpful in some situations where small parts are difficult to see against their backgrounds. The illumination from this lamp is a big improvement over even portable LED "work lights" that I've tried for my projects, and - unlike the work lights - these lamps are up out of the way. Very pleased with them so far.
