Just what you're looking for
These are the only jeans I wear. They check off all the boxes. Comfort, size, color, washable, dressy or casual. I have never been disappointed and I own over 23 pairs.

Not quite tapered but still great jeans
The cut is more like a regular straight leg jean to me, but that's a minor complaint. The jeans are light-mid weight and feel sturdy compared to most overly stretchy jeans lately. Deep pockets (back AND front) and the rise is high enough to sit at my natural waist. Thigh room seems to correlate with waist and hip size to a degree so my legs aren't being suffocated while the waist fits properly which is usually an issue for me. They look great, feel great. And the waist has a slight bit of give to accommodate small weight fluctuations.

These are great very comfortable easy to wash flattering and I could get into two sides of smaller than I normally wear

Don’t trust the sizing
I’m 5’5 180. Based on amazons recommendation I needed a 16 plus. Based on many recommendations on the product, size up. So I did. I ordered the 16 plus. They are so loose I can take them on and off without unbuttoning. I needed the pants for a work even so they will have to do. They are comfortable around the crotch but a little baggy in the thighs. With them being oversized they are definitely not slimming. Would order another pair in a 14 but they are sold out.

This is the 4th pair of Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans I've bought. I bought the 1st ones several years ago & was glad to find these on Amazon so I've since ordered 3 more pair. The fit perfectly & have good pockets both front & back, that can hold your phone, cash, ID, whatever, without it falling out. If you plan to order, just be sure to check if they are listed in your size as also being "short" or "long" or with no indication, as these indicate the variations in leg lengths. I also noticed there was some wide variation in price from various sellers, so be sure to check out the various options for price, colour, etc, before choosing your size & leg length. I'm very happy with these jeans, would recommend them.

I have been wearing GV's jean for years and was very happy to still find them available. Just love the fit and the color durability, always look your best with them on.
