So far, it hasn't drip at all. I've only had mine for about a month, but I use it all day. I'm a quilter and am constantly pressing. I love the fact that it's 1800 watts. It get creases out better than any other iron I have ever had. I think you'll be very pleased with it.

Does this iron produce steam on every setting?

No, I had mine replaced after only a week of use. I emailed the company and was told to only use steam on 5 and higher settings. My new one seems to be much better. I've only used it 3 days now but have had no leaks so far. I really like the weight of the unit and how hot it gets. I'm just one of those people who use a iron daily and can't stand for them to dump huge amounts of water all over my clothes.

I like this iron but is there a way to turn off the auto shut off feature--quilters go back & forth to iron & have to wait to reheat-suggestions?

I'm a quilter and it reheats super fast. I like the auto shut off, just in case I leave the room for a bit, I wouldn't want it to stay on continually, I like the safety feature. Most all irons do this, except the travel irons. I love my Beautural Iron.

does it have burst of steam?

Yes it does. It works well to get out those stubborn wrinkles. I sew with upholstery fabric quite often and when it gets wrinkled, they're hard to get out. I use the burst of steam to get them out - because it's stiff fabric, I have to do it twice - but it works great!
