They make your bike stop
Purchased to replace a XT 2 piston caliper that was previously installed. So lever and hose were already in place. Very happy, the brakes stop quick and have a great feel to them. Had evertyhing in the box to install, including proper screw for banjo fitting, new mounting screws etc.It did take a while to bleed. Had to remove caliper and turn every which way to get the air out, but thats not an issue with the product, but rather just an issue with a caliper that is bone dry to start with.

OEM shamans XT caliper and pads, no banjo fitting
This is an OEM Shimano XT brake caliper and N03A resin pads with cooling fins. It’s a great brake setup. Beware, the picture shows a banjo fitting. This is not included. Although it does contain the proper mounting screw for the fitting. Overall, very happy with the performance of these brakes once I ordered the banjo fitting I needed.

4 Pistons are the way to go. Only a slight weight penalty over 2 pistons, but the stopping power is incredible. Easy to bleed and just plain work.

Good when they work, but fragile and unreliable
I have had several of these brakes - when they are working properly, they have great stopping power and everything is fine. However, they frequently have issues, and two of the three I have owned over the past few years eventually get stuck pistons. Since the pistons are ceramic, they are fragile and not repairable. These have just cost me way too much wasted time - would not recommend.

世の中では新8200系が話題になってますが、対向異径4ピストンということで遅ればせながら愛車に導入してみました。ブレーキの利きと言うよりはコントロール性のほうが上がった気がします。（当然2ピストンよりも利きは上ですが）ブレーキングテクがあがったような錯覚をもちました。

Mit jahrelanger Erfahrung mit dem MTB kaufe ich nur noch aus der XT-Serie. Genial in Funktion und Zuverlässigkeit. Kommt an meine Räder nichts mehr anderes

Very poor customer service.
Bought these on sale for a great price, they were apparently damaged in shipping process and would not send me replacements at the same price . Sounds pretty shady to me .

信頼性は抜群ですねピストンのシールがお亡くなりになったBR-M755から更新したのでレバーはBL-M755のままレバーの遊びが嫌いなのでディスク挟まない状態で握りギリギリまでパッド寄せてますが新品はシールの動きもよくコントロールしやすく満足してますできればBR-M755の様なひと手間かけたキャリパー側面の面取りがあるといいなと思いました見た目がおとなしく目立たないので満足度は相対的に下がってしまうのです
