This anchor works!
I tried it out this weekend and this anchor works really well! It took only a few seconds to grab and grabbed tight. My friend pulled up his boat next to mine and I he asked if I wanted him to throw his anchor in just to be safe. I said no because I wanted to test my new anchor. It held us both the whole day we were there with not problem! My boat is a 18' and his was a 20'. I highly recommend this anchor, it is well worth the extra money!

Perfect
Launches and retrieves into anchor nest perfectly. Holds my 2250 stabicraft effortlessly, looks sharp up on the bow too. Couldn't be happier.

Great anchor. No problems at all even in windy conditions. No difficulty setting in grass, hard sand, and soft mud.

Received wrong anchor
I had a Rocna 9lb fisherman on my 20’DC. I bottom fish with it offshore up to 120’. Held great, came free great....until last weekend where it got stuck and had to cut it free.So I ordered another ASAP, and to my disappointment, I received a standard 9lb Rocna without the sliding slot for the shackle. This is the ONLY reason for the 3 star review. I will try it rigged breakaway but boy is that going to be annoying with the bow roller.

TOO LIGHT -Looks good in theory-needs more weight in the tip
On my 28th year commercial fishing...Have anchored so many times using so many anchors I can't count in different bottoms...Went to use this in a soft grassy bottom with plenty of bottom chain and scope.. it would not "dig in"..too light..Tried several times and ended up putting some dive weights on it to get it to dig in..JunkMight work well in pure sand but I'm in different condition all the time...NOT WORTH THE RISK TO YOU OR YOUR BOAT

Great anchor. Highly recommend.
I have used it on three trips now. Fishing on artificial reefs, getting hung but east to get loose.

Best anchor ever!
We’ve been using this anchor for over a year and recently lost it because it wasn’t securely screwed on to the chain, so we ended up buying it again because there is no other like it. Well worth the money.
