Noodlers Ink 3Oz Aircorp Blue Black
Noodlers is and has always been a great ink with good flow and color. It also stores well without crystallization in my experience. I use it mostly for journalling and for checks since it cannot be removed from the paper. It also dries quickly avoiding smudges. Suitable for all size nibs: it flows well with fine nibs and even with broad nibs without excessive draw. The Blue-Black color is classic. Why use anything else?

Favorite fountain pen ink!
This is my favorite fountain pen ink! It is black enough that I can use it at work in a professional setting, yet it is not so black that it's boring. It shades pretty well so you can get multiple colors out of it if you are looking for that (recommend high-quality Rhodia like paper to get the most out of this feature). And it is bullet-proof/forge-proof meaning forgers can't wash it off with any chemical (Great for use in signatures!) which is handy for me as I am constantly signing prescriptions. It is also a unique color so the chance is very low that anyone you know will have the same color (or be able to "doctor" what you wrote). It is beautiful with a WW II era kind of feel to it, but it's subtle enough that those who find colored inks at work to be unprofessional are not likely to notice that yours isn't black (so long as you're not trying to do a lot of shading with it). It's just absolutely my favorite ink.

A lot of ink for the buck
There is a lot of ink in this bottle. I am new to the fountain pen world. Even newer to bulk ink bottles. I love the blue-black ink and the bottle art is great for my desk and writing supplies. My only issue is the bottle is totally topped off to the top. So buyer, be very careful when you open. When opening, do it over a thick and absorbent surface like cardboard with some paper. This stuff will soak. That being said, I found it writes well and did not soak through my books or notes and I will continue to test and write.

More green then blue.
Arrived well packaged and leak free. I bought it basically for the bottle as I figured black is black. I agree with the previous reviews - this is not BLUE BLACK. There is a dark green tint to it, no blue at all. Depending on the light it can also appear dark gray. As other reviewers mentioned the bottle is filled to the top. Reviews are a good thing - there were no surprises. I knew about the green and also to be careful opening the bottle.

My favorite ink!
I love this ink, I originally place a big order of different sample ink with the Goulet Pen Company as starting out I wanted to make sure I absolutely loved the inks Ive purchased as the bottles are huge, so its a big ink comitment. This is my second bottle form Noodler's I find you get a lot for your bucks, he has an amazing color variation, he is one guy so basically a small company and its made in the USA. All things that I like to support when I have the chase. Out of all of my sample purchase this was the only bottle I need to have, its such a different color, theres hidden notes of green with in the blue and black its gorgeous. It does really well with fine nibs in cheap paper, no bleeding or looking fuzzy, its formal enough I can use it at work or hand in a paper in collage yet not your everyday boring blue and blacks. I really have nothing bad to say about this ink. Just a word of advise usually all Noodler's ink are filled to the very top sooo be extra careful when opening any of his bottle not to spill it. I attach some photo using mead ruled paper with my grandpas old Parker 45 that has an extra fine nib. I tend not to fin a lot of reviews using this kind of paper thats its more used here in schools.

Love this stuff
From a wet pen it approaches black from teal. Very nice, and close enough to black for most purposes where you don't want to be writing in "green ink." From a dry pen, though, this is as everyone points out decidedly not blue-black at all, but a kind of teal. Bit if the paper feathers just a little or just right, or if there is just a trace of dampness, or sometimes in case of bleed-through on cheap paper, the outline around the black line is a lovely cerulean -- perhaps that in some ways justifies the "blue-black" name. One of my favorite of Noodler's many fine offerings. Amazon is asking me to rate its "Sheerness," whatever the heck that is supposed to be.

Aircorp Blue-Black Ink - Excellent
I purchased Noodlers Aircorp Blue-Black fountain pen ink for use in my new Parker Urban Premium Metallic Brown Medium Point Fountain Pen. The ink came from a third-party seller, fulfilled by Amazon, and arrived well packed and on time. I do like this ink a great deal. I would disagree with 'Blue-Black', though - I think it's closer to Black-Green. The predominate color tone is black, however there appears to be a extremely slight greenish tint as well. It's a great color overall, and I suspect that it will fulfill both of the purposes I bought it for - being a nearly black color that is far enough away from black that I can tell originals from copies. I don't know if this color is Bulletproof enough to use on checks, etc - I don't feel like I know enough about that to speak with authority. However, I will say that there doesn't seem to be much fade when made damp on the page. It dries pretty quickly, as well - I'm left handed, and I've written a fair amount on on Composition Book paper without any of the side-palm smear that lefties are accustomed to. Overall, I recommend the ink. It's great!

Writes very smoothly in my in my Lamy Al Star EF
Purchased this to use as a daily driver ink in my first fountain pen, an Al Star with an Extra Fine nib. For that purpose it seems to work admirably. I agree with others who have commented that it's more of a green- or teal-black than straight blue, but that's okay. It's dark enough that it's fine as a conservative black in a professional setting; the greenish tint only shows thru with very light lines or on very white paper. I primarily use my pen for journaling and for signing things. It is indeed very watery, but I haven't had the problems others have described with bleed-thru, possibly because I'm using an EF nib.

I'm a sucker for blue green inks and this one hits it out of the park. The colour is like a deeply saturated teal, and writing with an extra fine nib expresses a bit of shading properties the ink seems to have. I don't know what it is like to clean out of a pen though I have heard it can be a nuisance given it is semi-permanent. Running water over the ink leaves a ghostly grey-blue, semi-legible line. Overall the ink has great properties, including, aside from the semi-permanence/water resistance, great flow and little feathering in lower to mid quality paper. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful colour. More teal than blue, very saddle and unique.

Tinta inconsistente. Em várias canetas o fluxo é imprevisível e costuma entupir por causa de separação excessiva.

The ink is green - not blue black. Looks very turquoise. Still, it’s good ink
