A MUST HAVE for college. As a college student this literally lasted me my whole first semester. For someone who has a sensitive nose and skin this worked perfectly. It’s definitely an investment of money but I promise you it’s worth it. Saved me space, quality was good, my clothes smelled good and was soft, and it is sturdy. Definitely buyyyy

This review is on the Gain + Odor Defense laundry detergent. I bought the 154fl oz bottle in the “Super Fresh Blast” scent. This is my absolute favorite liquid laundry detergent. It leaves clothes looking bright, feeling soft, and smelling amazing. So good that I ended up buying wax melts in the same fragrance. It doesn’t leave any residue or buildup, so my laundry stays fresh instead of getting dingy over time. The value is great, and it has even worked well on cloth diapers, which says a lot if you’re familiar with how selective you have to be with detergents. My favorite part is that I don’t have to use different detergents for different loads, this soap works for everything I wash throughout the week. This size actually lasts about a month for my family of 6.

I am very glad I found this new Gain Odor blocker scent. I have been a long time Gain original scent detergent user but for me, with a newly acquired HE washer, this was the solution I needed. At first I feared I would miss my Original scent Gain. No worries. This is even better. Pros: This detergent does have a fairly strong scent upon opening container but it is not objectionable and is as attractive a blend as any scent spray. It smells really clean. I did talk with the manufacturer about amount to use (measure with the cup!) and found that the regular Gain detergent that is picked out and sold to me by the closest big box store for curb pickup is totally unsuited to HE washers. Yes, I do always specify HE detergent. My washer was leaving a bit of sticky, stale film on my laundry. Frustrating beyond belief. I now know that is from too much suds action. This HE Gain not only smells great but cleans beautifully. Laundry smells fresh and retains that scent for a long time. Even packed away, the laundry scent shows longevity. I enjoy opening my closet and noticing a fresh scent. It is not overpowering and causes no skin irritation nor itching for me or my husband. The jug is a bit heavy but it has a large capacity and is, I believe, made to be more sustainable in the plastic quality. Cons: Honestly, despite the handy jug spout and the push button valve above the container for a no mess pour when placed on its side, I always find it a bit difficult to pour the precise amount into the cup. I am possibly shorting my measurements just a bit to prevent an overflow or waste. I am sure that is just me. Summary: A quality detergent from a solid company in a delightful scent. Perfect for HE washers. It really cleans.

I absolutely love Gain so much! This cleans so darn good. It took out stains from my clothes. They feel soft, plus the smell is great! It lasts so long. I love smelling my clothes, and fabrics! This is premium. Don't let people tell you it is not. It is. You cannot beat the price too. It last long, and you do not pay that much for it. Love Gain!

I’ve been using this detergent for over a year, and it continues to impress me. My clothes smell cleans all the time, even after wearing them and it does a great job removing everyday dirt. The fresh scent lasts without being overwhelming, and the overall performance is consistently reliable. I also use the fabric softener, the scent booster, and the anti‑static dryer sheets from the same line, and the combination is incredible. Everything works together beautifully, leaving my laundry smelling amazing and feeling truly fresh. I even keep the multi‑product capsules for busy days or when I’m traveling, and they’re just as effective. For the size, scent, and results, this whole line is an excellent value.

I am VERY sensitive to laundry detergents, and have been using Persil for years because it is the only thing that doesn't cause my to itch or have a rash. However I could not pass this up with such a good deal and I just hoped for the best. I am pleasantly surprised. My clothes smell AMAZING. My husband said our towels are so soft thanks to this new detergent. I was really shocked by the quality. I am converted from Persil, which I thought would NEVER happen.

It’s Gain, so you already know what you’re getting. It cleans well and smells great, which is why we keep using it. What really makes this a win for us is the subscription. Knowing our usage and having it show up right on time means one less thing to think about. We never run out and never have to make a last minute store run. If you already like Gain, the subscription option is absolutely worth it. Set it, forget it, and move on with your day. Simple and reliable.

Gain is only brand we use in our household. It cleans great, smells even greater and that power boost thing you hear about in the ads is completely true. I can put something on that's been in the drawer for weeks and that refreshing gain scent comes right out. The consistency of the soap is thick and not watery, the suds are plenty and you don't need to use much with the load. I like the giant containers and they really do last. The price has gone up as with everything right now but it's worth a bit more than other brands. If it keeps going up in price then that could be a problem for them as well as us consumers. Let's hope that doesn't happen so I can continue to love everything about my Gain. Love all the amazing scents to choose from too
