It appears to have not hurt anything.
My vehicle has 173K miles on it and oil changes every 3000 miles town driving, full synthetic. The oil after using Berryman's didn't look any darker. So I believe the Engine was very clean to start with. What is just awful is People buying an expensive car and only changing the oil once a year. My good friend is a Toyota Mechanic and tells me of the many Toyota Engines that drink oil, all because their owner's follow the Toyota 10K mile OC intervals. Maybe driving all freeway one could get away with it. But most People drive lots of stop and go miles. He has lots of picture of the insides of the failed engines. If the Piston Rings get stuck with sludge and carbon. the rings can exert lots of pressure on the cylinder bores and permanently damage them. Oil is cheap, engines are not. He said to use caution if buying a Toyota product with around 100K miles as it may have only had 9 oil changes. Other manufacturers are also extending oil changes to 10K miles or more. Audi, VW, Toyota, Lexus to name a few.

This stuff is like a secret weapon
This stuff is great it gave me 7,000 more miles on my 2010 F-150 that had oil sludge and a host of other problems. Truck was faithful and lasted me 272,000 miles until it was deadlined (or so I thought). The truck could barely keep idle and you had to mash the gas all the time to keep it from cutting off. It was so bad even after priding myself driving this truck forever it was dead until this stuff resurrected it. My buddy asked if I tried this and I never heard of it. I asked how much I should use reading the directions on the can and he snatched it from me and said, “Man, F$&@ those directions just pour it and floor it!” So in disbelief I did that and poured it in the engine. I started her up and it turned over and I put it in neutral and floored it keeping it just below red lining for about 30 seconds while all this smoke flew out the back. At the end of it she was running smooth again and I couldn’t believe it. I’d drive it 2,500 miles and it would start doing the same and I’d change the oil and pour in another can and same thing until I got 7-8,000 more miles out of it over 2 months. Saving me hundreds if not thousands of dollars before selling it and getting a new vehicle.

Oil engine flush
I drained the oil on a kia engine added a quart of oil then put this in and ran car exactly 5 minutes. Then drained and put on new oil filter. It did clean the engine up a bit. Car ran much smoother getting gunk out. Car has 165000 miles on it. I did notice a difference

Who really knows.....
I normally recommend against engine flushes, especially if you don't know the maintenance history. Often an the sludge in an old beater is all that is sealing it. Flushing it can leave you with a leaking, oil smoking mess. In this case, I did know the history on a '07 Saturn Ion 3 with the 2.2. consistent 5k oil change with full synthetic since new. Approx 100k on the clock. I dumped the existing, and replaced it with the cheapest filter and dinosaur oil I could find. The flush replaced the last quart. Note the existing has 3k on it, and was still translucent. I let it idle for about 20min, then dumped it. There was indeed some color in the oil - similar to the oil I dumped, so it did something. But it is hard to tell how much. 4 stars as it did indeed scrub something inside, but I just don't know how anyone could ever know how much or how complete of a job it did. This was more of an experiment - I still am not a fan in general, and likely won't do it again.....

Fixed my issue with low oil pressure
The oil pressure sensor can get clogged in my GMC pickup. This product does a good job of cleaning up those deposits.
