Wonderful Leadership Insights!
"Breathing Oxygen" is a great addition to the toolbox of any leader who is interesting in elevating a team to perform at a high level in pursuit of the organizational mission. I love how Jason lays everything out so plainly and in a well-structured way. From seeking alignment and understanding the mission, to problem-solving in creative ways, and to the importance of rest and reflection (something rarely valued in our country), "Breathing Oxygen" lays it all out in a clear way. I enjoyed reading, re-reading and highlighting throughout!

Refreshing culture shift essential in post pandemic times. Great read!
In Barger’s previous book “step back from the baggage claim “our management team and Frontline personnel were inspired and devoured the important messages within. This book written post pandemic embraces so much of the value we place within our culture and on boarding of our employees. Nationally it truly is a refreshing and inspiring read we could not more highly recommend this tremendous book and inspiring management tool!

Simple. Powerful. Profound.
A quick, powerful, thought-provoking read that leaves you energized and inspired. My charge for the year will most certainly be focused on the way I show up, and the air I choose to breathe. As an educator, I am always looking for a text to anchor my mindset for the start of each new school year, and BREATHING OXYGEN proved perfect.

How to inspire others by breathing oxygen into their relationships
If you want to be an inspiring leader who breathes oxygen into an organization, team, or family, then I highly recommend reading this book. In this post-pandemic era, everyone can learn how to become a better human and build deeper relationships by fostering a culture defined by clarity, inclusivity, agility, grit, rest and ownership

Started off strong
Started off strong then droned on with similar concepts we’ve all heard before. It’s a quick read, and good for reinforcement of concepts previously heard but I can’t say I learned anything new.

Timely & Necessary To All Teams, Cultures & Families
Just finished Jason Barger’s newest book, Breathing Oxygen where he challenges you to examine both the air you breathe into the world, and the air you consume from those around you. He focuses on six key mindsets that have the opportunity to breathe life and energy into a room, relationship or team. The mindsets discussed are Clarity, Inclusivity, Agility, Grit, Rest and Ownership. Barger’s ability to weave in stories and practices from his own life and experiences as well as those from well known athletic teams, international brands and scholars, not only make the book an enjoyable read, but also provide examples of how winning cultures are created and affected by the positive and thoughtful life breathed into them.I have many takeaways including tuning into my own biorhythms, the messages that need rinsed and repeated, making time to connect and align clarity, the power of voluntary deep breathing and the reminder of what it takes to climb some of the toughest parts of Everest (as well as life): Four breaths, step. Four breaths, step.Highly Recommend!
