SAFETY ISSUES! A Collapsing oven rack and range top knobs when bumped allow raw gas to escape.
The design looks great. The oven temps are calibrated accurately. The 3 burners are placed to allow multiple pans to fit. Glass top transitions smoothly to the countertop. (I have experienced 53 days using this suburban range model & 40 years cooking in RVs on propane ranges.) SAFETY ISSUES! I placed the white strip behind the range top knobs to create resistance so they couldn't turn easily. On multiple occasions, when the knobs were slightly bumped when cleaning, pulling off the towel that hung on the oven door handle, a guest leaned against the stove, each time the knobs turned to the on HIGH position and allowed raw propane to escape. Setting off the alarm. The oven knob design (brushed stainless with very fine print) is illegible. At the perfect angle and correct light, you can read the degrees. I used a Sharpie pen to highlight settings. When you pull the oven rack forward to remove the lasagna baking dish, I experienced the oven rack collapsing at the rear spilling the contents. A 2nd time the rack collapsed to the side with a very light weight pan with 2 tostada shells. Both times when trying to save the pans I was burned. Airxcel/Suburban Assistant Service MGR responded to my concerns by saying in an email "The customer should pay close attention when walking or cooking etc. near stove." No acknowledgement of responsibility for safe design or any other options offered. Our RV warranty is being honored. Our service provider ordered the Suburban 3630A which will address the legibility of knob issues, and maybe improve the rack collapsing and knob resistance issues. I actually enjoy cooking in our RV on vacations. I expect a range of this price to perform safely and with good baking and stove top cooking results.

Do not buy this garbage
Never have I seen an appliance built so cheaply. The oven for this range has never worked from day one. The pilot light will not stay lit and hold the temp. The oven door hinges are so light, any weight placed on it causes the hinge slot to bend. The result, door will not close and stays open about an inch. The three top burners however work fine.Should have just bought the cooktop only.I would give this negative 5 stars if I could. Suburban should be ashamed of itself for putting out garbage like this.Even if you were to find one for $5 bucks Don’t buy it.
