Velodyne 80-EQM12BV EQ-MAX 12-Inch Subwoofer (Black Vinyl)

My sub is dead. No sound reproduction.....everything looks working, but not sound anymore. I am in Brasil and have only one dealer/repair....i will see how much it will cost to repair....depending of the repair cost....i will have a new sub, but not Velodyne ! Sorry.

Excellent sound. Thunderous for the home theater. Have 4 of them hooked up (1 in each corner for balance). Patiently wait for a good deal on here. Every now and again you'll see a sub $400 seller for an $800 sub.**UPDATE 9-7-15** After 4 months, One of the subs now not only randomly pops, but the LED display is erratic. I have to take the cover off, knock on the front just to the right of the panel, put the cover back on, turn the sub off, then turn it on again for the LED display to work properly. Something is wrong with the internal circuitry. Has to be a loose connection somewhere. It still sounds great. Just hope to isolate the random popping.**UPDATE 2-6-16** The other sub is completely dead. Replaced fuse a couple of times and it blows immediately. Original fuse was a 3amp 250v which is what I put in. Obvious problem with power supply. The other sub from 9-7-15 update issue was correct (both popping and LED display malfunctioning) simply by leaving the sub in 'always on' mode.**Update 8-13-16 - Velodyne fixed both subs under warranty 5 months ago. So far, so good. Hope the amp problems have been solved!**Update 7-18-17 - One of the subs is back to popping and the display is cutting in and out. These subs are kept at 1/2 volume (30) and I keep the settings from my Yamaha RXA3050 YPAO which are good. This sub is just crap in regards to quality. Time to bite the bullet and look at SVS and HSU. Velodyne's poor quality has me running away from looking into their line again. Great sound, but it simply HAS to last more than a year.**Update 5-14-18** leaving the subs in the ‘on’ position at all times seems to have fixed the popping and display problems. Been almost a year without issue. Sound is flawless, right, and deep for a midsized room. Here’s to hoping!

Easy to set up and good sound. A good investment for the price you pay.

The main board in this sub is made in China and looks to be very poorly made. Sub no longer works.

Don't buy this.. ive bought it, stop working 1 month after warranty and velodyne wont reconize they have problem with the main board and wont repair or make a deal.. 250$ can for the part and 60 $ for the repair .. so at this price will buy a brand new one and better quality. Its sound great but cheap part.

Awesome. I am particular with my music and home theater sound. You cant find better for the money spent. No distortion what so ever, very solid and tight bass.

worked good until it stopped working. Second velodyne sub I have bought that just stopped. Good thing the store offers money back guarantee. Will never buy another velodyne product again. EVER

This sub is nearly plug and play. For 400.00 you can't go wrong. Our room is 24x18 and we have plenty of head room. Clean and clear.
