The Karmic Birthday Book: Discover the Meaning and Magic of the Day You Were Born

First of all, this book is beautiful and I feel confident that it would make a great gift for those who are into astrology and horoscopes and things like that. But as with all things cosmic from the wonderful minds of Amy Zerner and Monte Farber (I have so many of their publications and oracle cards - they are my favorite), they are so spot on via your sun sign that you don't even need to consider your moon or rising. It's just amazing. It's a fun book to have and I dare you to take it out at a party and not spend an hour going through everyone's birthday. It's pretty addicting. Only thing, I wish they had a picture of them in the book! Um... have you ever seen them? Cutest couple EVER!

Opened my packet today. Oh my! I did not expect a book this size. I didn't expect anything like this but I should have. I LOVE IT!!! I'm stunned... speechless... I kept flipping through it with my mouth open. Not only birthday info but Amy's art splattered throughout the whole... I've having a problem calling it a book because of the journal quality of it. I love it, I love it, I love it!

For someone that loves to learn about astrology this is a great book full of useful information. Never disappointed with these Authors.

This is an attractive book with colorful illustrations. Its hefty, not flimsy, and is worth the price quality and presentation-wise. Content-wise I give it 4 stars because, of course, as with any psychic analysis, you have to take the information with a grain of salt. At first, I was a little disappointed that every birthday has only one page dedicated to it, but one page is enough. There's a lot of insight crammed into a few paragraphs. Plus the font is small.My 11 year old daughter and I read thru our birthdays together and agreed that about half the information was true to our personalities. I think a 2nd party perspective is helpful to confirm or deny certain aspects of ourselvesf. We also read thru several different family members, and the accuracy was all about 50%. Irregardless of how accurate the content was, it was a fun and entertaining read. My daughter even took the book to school to share with her friends. If you're interested in new age things and psychic predictions, I recommend this book for its entertainment value.

The Birthscopes are very clear, concise, and use lingo that doesn’t require knowledge beyond what is presented to you. Those with a more advanced understanding can easily pick out the astrology and numerology associations to the descriptions given, but the book does not require you to learn something in order to interpret the Birthscopes.The Birthscopes are not just breaking down and telling you who you are, they present what energy is inherently available for you to work with through a summary of your highest potential, and specific guidance based on this unique information.One of the things that intrigued me the most about this book is that it is less about how to dig into this information, and more about being able to have a snapshot of the information along with practical and spiritual advice that you can use to go down deeper rabbit holes for self discovery (or friends, family, etc). Amy and Monte provide you the need to know details to start the self discovery process, but it’s still up to you to do the work and dig deeper IF you feel compelled.The Karmic Birthday Book is great for someone wanting straight to point information for quick reference; those who haven’t gotten into in-depth numerology and astrology and are wanting the details without spending time learning the systems right out of the gate; those looking to better understand themselves and the potential that lies within; and as a coffee table conversation starter for piquing the interests of those who may not even know they are about to be highly intrigued and ready to dive head first into the world of astrology, numerology and self discovery. For those that are more advanced numerology, astrology and tarot students, the pages have plenty of space to start padding the profiles with additional information like natal chart data that can explain some of the differences in the description given and the characteristics of the person. The same applies to numerology. I cannot go without saying that the artwork, Amy’s of course, is absolutely beautiful.

This book is bigger than expected. It is perfect as a coffee table book. Not to mention it is an entertaining read. For anyone who wants to learn more about astrology, this book is definitely for you!!!

This is a large, heavy, good quality book. It would make a great gift to put in a common area, like a coffee table in a salon or dorm, or to give to a teenager / college student to share with their friends... or a fun housewarming gift for people who like to throw big parties. You either enjoy things like this or you don't, so that's a personal preference. I can't really comment on the quality of the content itself because I haven't read many books like this. I can say that it seems to be very thorough, well written, and insightful! It is not very repetitive, which makes it seem more believable. I found it very interesting reading the page for my birthday, and for a few other people, but now I kind of don't know what to do with it. This is the kind of reference book where buying the kindle version would make sense.As for details, there are only 5 pages of general explanation / text, which are unfortunately not easy to read due to the font size / choice and lavender gray page color. There's a lot of wasted space in large margins - I wish they had chosen a different font and made it slightly larger. The rest of the book consists of a page for each day of the year. Again, small text and wasted space with huge lines for writing in names of people with those birthdays. I guess it could be fun if you put this in a dorm and everyone signed their page!

I love all their divination products and art. This book is shockingly accurate and so much fun. Been reading all my friends and families birthdays and the last section called secret is extra mind-blowing!
