I do some metalsmithing (jewelry), and occasionally use for pendants and etched decorative items. It has been quite a while since I last purchased copper sheet, so I experienced a shock when I saw modern prices! This was the most reasonable solution. The copper sheet arrived in good condition, but with a very slight bend. That minor flaw can be easily corrected. Overall I've been quite happy with the product. It's the perfect thickness for the pieces I am making.

I liked the size and the quality of these plates, But I do find that they tend to have little scratches here and there that do show up on intaglio prints, So if you need your print to be completely clean with no scratches buying your plate online might not be a good idea due to the possibility they could be best up a bit during transit? But as somebody who embraces small imperfections in their prints it worked perfect for me!

Honestly solid copper is hard to come by, specially if you are a printmaker. I absolutely recommend this store, I buy a couple pieces each month for Intaglio etchings. They are usually packaged cleanly, with extra padding. All the copper sheets i’ve bought have had little to no scratching and don’t have any oil marks or discoloration. They are thick and easy to work with! Plus no warping so far. They react very well to the ferric acid, and i’ve had no problem etching these plates.

get for etching and good thickness. The only problem was they came bent, should be shipped in a box, not an envelope.

I make about 60 knives a year, and i only use K&S copper for My liners. Excellent product, great price

A little thicker than I thought it would be but that’s not a bad thing… works perfect for what I needed it for.

Every printmaker should try a copper plate once or twice in their life. These are as good as any.

Its a fine product..came clean, no bent edges. I wasn't thinking when i thought i could cut this easily. Its about as thick as a penny..maybe a little more. I have strong hands but a lot of cutting with snips required two hands.. otherwise good product

Its a piece of copper. Came packed well.

It was much thicker than I wanted but the artist I gave it to thought they could use it. Beautiful and it was hard to give away since it felt so lovely. Heavy.
