Surprisingly effective and easy to use.
I was a bit skeptical about this adhesive transition strip material in terms of how it would look and whether it could be installed in a reliable fashion, but was pleasantly surprised. During a remodel a few years ago, we replaced the tile in the dining room, which connects to the entryway. The tile installers replaced the transition strip between the tile at the front of the house and the parquet floors in the great room. It never felt stable, and over the years it has slipped and buckled. One reason may have been that it was a bit too chunky and susceptible to being kicked and knocked around by things like packages being moved around in the entry. I tried gluing, nailing; even a bit of tape, but it was frankly a mess. I went looking for traditional transition strips to install and came across this "easy" solution on Amazon. Glad I did. LIKES Overall quality - The product is just what it says -- a roll of heavy vinyl material with a woodgrain design and a strip on the back that can be easily peeled back to expose a strong adhesive. Installation - Even easier that I'd hoped. The material easily lays flat once unrolled (no residual curling to fight off). I cleaned the area thoroughly as instructed to give the adhesive a good surface to contact. Once laid in place, you can trim on the spot with a pair of scissors, and then pull the strip covering the adhesive away as you hold the strip in place. The strip comes off readily, so I didn't need to wrestle with it, pick at left over spots, or even move the strip from the floor. I just raised it bit off the floor and steadily peeled while laying the newly exposed adhesive back into place. The product is heavy enough that it will stay in place as you pull off the backing (we got the 3" version). Once the backing was all off, I laid some dumbbells and heavy boxes along it overnight, just as the contractors had us do with the wood transition strips. So far there is no sign of it lifting up anywhere, and this particular transition is perhaps extra demanding as the gap the tile people left is fairly substantial (perhaps 3/4"). And again, this is a high-traffic part of our house where the strip is going to be stepped on and objects dragged across it. The 3" was definitely the right choice. Looks - Examined carefully, you can see this is vinyl, but that doesn't bother us at all. Vinyl is actually a good choice for this application in a high-traffic area where a fiddly chunk of wood (as we discovered) may take too much abuse. This product has a durable, commercial quality to it. Value -- This strip feels robust enough to last for years, but at this price, we could replace it periodically if needed. I hope we don't, but if so, this is a pretty slick solution to the problem. Five stars -- This is a great solution for DIYers or anyone else who needs a quick, durable fix for transition strips.

Great product, it did the job. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Easy-to-Use and Durable Floor Cover!
I have had this tape down for a while now and it has not come up. It was a good price for what I was getting. I like the product. This self-adhesive floor cover is fantastic! It sticks securely to the floor without slipping or curling at the edges. The material feels durable and high-quality, protecting my floors from scratches, spills, and daily wear. It’s easy to cut to size and apply smoothly without bubbles or wrinkles. Overall, a practical, reliable, and effective solution for keeping floors safe and looking great—highly recommend!

The solution to the problem!
Perfect solution for the transition between two different vinyl floors. So easy to cut, flexible, looks like wood, easy to install, sticks tightly. Has the perfect curvature for when the height difference between the two areas isn’t much. Prevents tripping.

Did the Trick
This item was no hassle and did the trick. Be sure to pay attention to size specifications. It is literally just plug and play. Peel off the tape and stick the trim or you need it. In my case, I used it to fill in a threshold between one room and another.

Good for what I needed
Let’s be honest, this is vinyl, it is not going to look like fine workmanship. However, it performs as expected. I ordered this as a temporary fix for a spot where my dog ripped up the carpet exposing the carpet nails. Until the carpet is replaced (it’s due) I needed something to keep from impaling my feet on the razor sharp nails. I ordered the 3” wide strip to cover the full area; definitely worth getting the extra width for my application. Some reviewers complained that it did not stick, but I have not had that problem and it has been in place now for a couple of weeks in a high traffic area. I imagine it depends on what you are adhering it to. To be certain it would stick I cleaned the floor first with a mild cleaner and water, then with rubbing alcohol. I warmed the vinyl strip with a hair dryer and pressed the strip on firmly. It is not going anywhere, it is even staying down well on the carpet side. Bottom line: looks like cheap vinyl, but it does what it is meant to do at a low cost.

I’m really impressed with this product. The quality is much better than I expected, the PVC feels durable and flexible, and the finish looks great once installed. The peel and stick design makes installation incredibly simple. I just cut it to size, peeled off the backing, and pressed it down using a small roller I had from another project. No tools or extra tape were needed. It instantly covered the floor gap between rooms and gave everything a clean, finished look. The adhesive is strong, and it has held perfectly so far. The light brown color with the wood grain blends nicely with my floors too. Overall, this floor transition strip is excellent value for the price, with sturdy material, easy installation, and a great appearance. I definitely recommend it.

I purchased this transition strip to create a smooth connection between my laminate flooring and tile, and it worked perfectly. The quality is solid and durable, with a clean, professional finish. Installation was straightforward — it fit snugly and stayed in place without any issues. It blends well with both floor types and adds a polished look to the space. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable and attractive transition!
