Doesn't keep carbonation

Thought this would be a good setup for a portable draft system. I bought this one because it had a regulator and a flow control faucet. One or both are necessary when you have no beer lines attached if you want to pour anything but foam. The quality on these is terrible. There were metal shards still hanging off the threads on the cap and on some of the faucet adapter parts. No matter what I did, the faucet leaked constantly. Not only did it drip, but I was losing all my CO2 out the faucet as well.

This is a very convenient way to serve beer to your friends wherever you go. Keep it in your cooler with the standard cap until its time to serve, then attach the pouring mechanism and screw on a 16g CO2 and you are in business. The CO2 keeps the beer carbonated and pourable. It also has a nice pressure gauge to fine tune your pours. I suggest you get the sleeve that insulates the keg.

I like this keg in theory but it has some problems. First when I got it the keg was damaged in shipping. I filed a claim but they wanted me to return it before a second keg could be sent out to me. I already had a my craft beer made and simply did not want to wait on a second keg to be shipped. It had a dent in the keg and the plastic over the pressure regulator was broken. However, I decided everything was still functional and didn't want to have to wait.I used the keg three times to force carbonate my home brew craft beers before the threads broke and the tap fell off spraying beer all over my frig and kitchen. The threads on the tap are extremely poorly made and absolutely have no chance or repeated use.
