Cord is for my older car who's Bluetooth is a bit outdated and hard to get going on my newer iPhone. I bought this cord to just plug and play like the old days (00s) and it works perfectly. No static or skipping. Can easily play Spotify from my phone through my car speakers. Only downside is that my phone can't charge at the same time, but that is a Apple problem.

Piece of garbage, do not buy this product! I was so excited to be able to play music from my phone on my car's system! I opened the package, plugged the jack into the correct place, plugged other end into my iPhone, but sound came from phone not speakers. I unplugged from my phone, checked to make sure jack was plugged securely into car, then plugged back into my phone. It looked loose, I went to straighten it and it broke off right away, with the lightening end still stuck in my phone. Never able to use it even once.

I am using this with an iphone SE (2020) in my 09 Honda Odyssey. This cord seems to work like 85% of the time. Occasionally while listening to music, it just stops. Then I have to unplug the cable from the phone or the aux input or sometimes both. This interruption happens usually when the cable is bumped but also it happens randomly. It is possible this isn't an issue with the cable. It could just be my old car and my phone. But overall it *does* work most of the time. It works as a cheap work around so I can listen to Spotify in my mom van. Four stars.

I love that this cable it lets me connect my iPhone directly to the car , if you have an auxiliary port this little cable (cord) is simple and easy to use the cord length is perfect. It’s very easy to use and it functions is great

I discovered recently that when I was using Bluetooth to connect the phone to my stereo system in the car, the phone treats it as Bluetooth headphones and keeps telling me the volume is too loud. Also, one of the cars we have doesn’t have a usb aux port, only an audio Jack connection. Using this cord, I can connect in the car with the audio jack aux port, and in the other car, hooking up to the stereo directly has solved my phone treating the connection like it’s headphones. Works well, no issues.
