Our fridge ice maker never seems to keep up so I purchased this one to make sure we always have ice. It does put out a lot of ice and it is impressive how quickly it makes it. My only complaint is that the ice is very wet so use a small tray lines with paper towels and dump my ice into that first to dry it before transferring it to the freezer to help prevent it from freezing into a giant clump. I also noticed that if you don’t dump it every couple of hours the ice on the bottom starts to melt so something to keep in mind. The basket that catches the ice and the scoop for it is pretty small so it is hard to scoop it directly from the machine. We use filtered water to refill it and outside if these little things it has worked very well. It is a little loud (sounds like a fan running) but I only notice it when it’s quiet and in the kitchen.

This is an amazing little powerhouse! Quiet, efficient and fast to produce ice cubes. Easy to maintain. Use this daily at work for ice in my drinks...and is also portable to other areas. Love this!

Works great! It started making ice pretty quick. Depending on the size of your cup, i.e. 20oz or 32oz, you can probably only get 2 cup fulls. It will continue to make ice if you empty the tray out, but if not it will stop after 3 full ice batches. The first ice batch is pretty small and thin, then the second is thicker ice and the third is the normal size ice it makes. Easy to use and clean.
