Easy To Use and Reliable Heavyweight Picture Hanging Strips
My son relies on these for dorm room life because pictures somehow multiply the minute he gets settled. They are easy to use, hold well once in place, and make it simple to hang things without pulling out tools or worrying about wall damage. They have been a very practical staple for getting a room set up quickly and keeping it looking pulled together.

My "go to" method for hanging pictures and attaching outlet strips now
These things work amazingly well, and have become my "go to" method for hanging pictures and attaching outlet strips now. And they do, after a fashion, come off after a little hassle. I don't know why you have to buy these velcro strips to get this stong adhesive, but regular adhesive strips aren't nearly as good.

Great - but weight capacity shown can be deceptive
Command strips - the plastic loop type - always stick together well and much better than the "cloth" ones. These were used to replace ones outdoors holding some rain curtains in place; to hold up a heavy plastic sheet as a guard on bannister railing; to hang a light picture frame; and to store ceiling fan and light remotes on the walls of different rooms. TIP: Note that the maximum weight capacity shown on the container is achieved by using multiple sets of strips, NOT one set only. For example, the container may say 20 lbs., but that may only be true when using 4 sets of strips together for one application. FYI - I have not used these to hold any item that meets the maximum weight on the package. I used 4 sets on a medium-sized, light picture frame because there was no other way to hang it and I needed to be certain it wouldn't fall.

Extremely strong adhesive - be careful on plaster walls.
I’ve been using command strips for more than 10 years and think they are a phenomenal product, but this is the first time I’ve used the XL. These definitely hold up heavy weight items but be careful on removal. I wanted to shift some paintings around and ended up pulling pieces of the plaster away from the wall when I tried to detach the painting from the wall - it happened twice in the kitchen and once in the hallway so I know it’s not a fluke. I had to spackle, sand and paint which has never happened before from using command strips. I’d recommend sticking with the large size if it will get your job done.

Use these for everything
Talk about hold— I have hang shelfs using these strips. They hold large picture frames with out nailed or drills which is very important to me. Great value for the money. Be prepared, when they stick, they really stick. You don’t see them behind what ever your hanging, not visible at all. I consider them to be very safe. I use them in my wellness room where I am doing massages. Shelf are loaded with diffusers and essential oils along with other items. Been hanging for a few months now. No smell or odor.

Hate your frames &LOVE broken glass everywhere? Look no further!
Last night I finally hung all my art and photos - only to be woken up every 10 minutes with them crashing off my walls and calling in 2 hours late to work to clean up all the glass. Here is what happened: I’ve used Command strips for at least the last 5+ years. LOVE THEM as a renter. I always buy strips that can hold more weight than I need. I use 2 strips per frame. Never had an issue. Not once. I moved in June and have TONS of art and photos ranging from 4x6 frames to framed paintings weighing about 7 lbs. And due to life circumstances, I finally got a moment to hang up all my wall decor using 2 batches of command strips I purchased after moving (one in June and one in August - I have a lot of framed wall decor). I spent about 10 hours carefully leveling and applying pressure each time. And I was relieved to finally be set up in my new place. I went to bed about 2.5 hours later… and starting around 1am, I was woken up every dozen or so minutes to a frame falling from the wall. I needed to get sleep so I would go back to sleep and then be woken up several minutes… Minutes… later with an another frame coming off the wall. I woke up an hour early, knowing that I had glass covering every floor in every room from these frames shattering… I probably have several thousand dollars invested in my frame jobs by the way…. And even with that extra hour in the morning, I still had to call in to work two hours late cleaning up all the glass and now have a pile of broken, framed, art, and photos sitting on my living room floor. When I opened the batches, I bought in June and August. I thought it was weird that the strip he removed to expose the adhesive was clear and did not have the green command written in diagonal repeating lines. But I did notice the difference. I went to the store today and purchased a package and they had that green striped command text… And as soon as I got home 4 1/2 hours ago, I tested out the store bought bunch, and not a single broken frame has fallen off my wall. And I bought a small/medium mix pack - meaning some of the ones I was using that failed last night were supposed to hold considerably more weight I do not know why the two most recent batches of command strips that I bought from Amazon failed me the way they did. But this is a nightmare. Years of investing my money in professional framing for my art and photos… An entire day hanging photos… A work night with no sleep… And waking up to glass covering every floor in my home… This is a nightmare. I do not wish upon anybody else. Go to the store and buy your command strips. YES I GET IT. AMAZON IS CONVENIENT. But I’m leaving reviews on the two batches I purchased in June and August… Do not buy from the sellers. They are not legitimate and they do not hold your frames… So the 20 minutes you saved running to the store is going to seem silly when you’ve thrown away money on frames And hours on cleaning up broken glass . Just go to the store. Learn from my mistake.

Strong Hold and Very Easy to Use
These strips stick extremely well. I had no issues at all, and all the frames I put up are holding securely on the wall. They are very easy to apply, and if you want to change your frames, you can remove and reposition them without damaging or drilling into the wall. Very practical and reliable.

Rubbish
Absolute rubbish. Couldn't hold up the lightest of frames for more than an hour. Do not buy.
