A must have for post surgical procedures. Light weight and waterproof. Easily fit in walk in shower and just the right height (adjustable height) I used after a knee replacement and this chair is sturdy and stayed in place. Easily assembled. The chair has sturdy arms to grip for standing up.

This is a great quality item. First, it was easy to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and it didn't take long at all to assemble. The quality itself is really good. All the pieces fit together as intended and the chair is very solid and sturdy. And this items goes way beyond a basic shower stool or chair. It's a level bench. I've seen some of these that have a bench that curves slightly upward in the middle which creates not only an awkward seat, but it adds the possibility of the user sliding off to one side. To add to the level seat, it has arm rests. And they are padded! This is great for those needing the extra security of holding on to something as they sit down or stand up. And it also has a full backrest. This chair has everything and more that is needed for a safe shower seat. The height can be easily adjusted and it has rubberized "feet" to minimize if from slipping on wet surfaces. The chair is easy to clean and very portable to move in/out of the shower. I'd most certainly recommend this item for anyone in need of the assistance it provides.

I had fractured my foot and ankle and there was no way I could stand on my one good leg to shower so I resorted to a shower chair! I have a shower and tub with sliding glass doors so I could only have a chair and not a bench which was just fine too! Because of the glass doors, I decided to only put up one of the arm rest and forego the arm rest that is closest to the door, and it was so much easier getting into the chair inside my 18” tall tub! Please wait until you have a plan on how to use your space for maximum safety! It took me awhile to find a routine that was safe and efficient in moving around in the bathroom. It’s not just about getting into the tub! Place the good foot outside the tub when you want to get out and find leverage for both hands to support yourself getting up! Make sure your bad leg is also next to the good foot too! Just don’t ever put any pressure on so that means no standing on it! You have to have your back to the chair when trying to get in as well. The chair is defacing the shower head which is perpendicular to where I’m standing. I go through the doors and land on the side of the chair(the side with no arm rest) and as the chair is wide enough, I sit on the side and swing both my feet inside and then turn to face the shower head! (As the shower head can be quite tall, have someone bring it down before showering...when my one good leg was strong enough then I’d just stand on it to grab the shower head! The chair was very sturdy but one thing, I had to make sure I was the first to shower on any day! The chair is usually pushed back in the tub so that it does not get in the way of others when they’re using he shower. If someone had already showered first and there is water in the floor, the chair does not budge and move well across the floor. But if it’s dry then it’s all good! The holes in the chair can cause discomfort because you’re weighing down onto the holes and you’d find the impressions of those holes around your body and it could take sometime for the skin to return to normal. The bench is actually quite wide and thank goodness it was enough room to wiggle and turn around if needed! A sturdy chair thugs had given me no problems! Assembly was done by my family who said it was easy! It’s just pets and screens that need to fit seamlessly! There was no issues at all! But please...if you have a cast, pleaser use and shower cover or a shower cast!

I had surgery on my Achilles so I was on no weight bearing on my foot. Which I knew I was going to need help showering. So I bought this chair, assembly was fairly quick and easy, I did it alone while sitting up on the bed. It feels sturdy with the suction cups on the bottom and doesn’t feel like it will move. I have 2 issues with the chair, the seat part is not too comfortable. My showers lasted longer because I couldn’t stand on my leg. The second issue is that it’s not fluffy friendly. I’m a big guy and even though I fit in the chair, my thighs came up to where the arms were. I wish it was a little wider maybe it would be more comfortable. The arms helped me get up from the chair without using my leg so that’s a big plus.

Nice shower chair. Today I received my shower chair, after unpacking and removing all the plastic material and tape I got ready to assemble it. Opened the instructions and reviewed. The instructions could have been written in fewer words, but I understand some people may need more. Anyway, it went together pretty easy. Tip don’t tighten the screws down until it is complete assembled then tighten them all down. I am 6’ 2’’ at 214 LBS. and set the height adjustment to the highest, once I sat in the chair I was able to lower it by one hole. Took a shower, it’s nice to take a longer shower without worrying about falling over. Over all so far so good, seems sturdy enough. If anything changes I will update this review.

Very helpful for older person

Bought this for my dad. He is 93. It was easy to out together and no tools are needed. It is sturdy enough for him to lean on it and get up and down. If you are a bug person(my dad is about 5 foot5 inches) I don't know how stuedyit would be. It is light weight and easily moved by the elserly from one place to another. If you don't have the proper shower door opening though it is a.paonto put it in and rake it out. In my.parents case my.mither does not use it and she has to.remoce it when she showers it is easy and light but her shower door opening is a fee in he's to small.to just pull.it straight out so she has to tilt it out. But she was able to get the ha g.od it and while not preferable it is doable. It is easy to keep clean as well. This comes with chair arms.ehich I highly.recommend. If you don't need the arms in the beginning and de ide.later you need them you can add the arms easily. We use the arms. I recommend this.product..

He comprado otras sillas para la regadera pero las devolvi porque o no se podian armar facilmente, los agujeros no coincidian, o de muy mala calidad etc. Pero esta fue la mejor calidad por el mismo precio de las otras. Facil de Armar, resistente y los brazos se quitan o se ponen. Si fue buena compra
