As they were coming through my neighborhood putting on newer smart meters I had one of these already they cut it off and threw it on the ground. I picked it up tested new meter, it was higher than it than the first time. Put it on the new meter and it went down a whole lot. Just to check I went to my neighbors and it was off the hook high. These things work and I suggest you get it especially if you have young children.

A little overpriced but fits nicely
I have no way of testing this to see if it really works. It fits perfectly on my smart meter. If you use it for your cell phone ETC a signal can still get through. But supposedly the bad signals cannot. For that reason I have nothing to test this with. To me, it's too much money for this. But I'm Amazon prime and it was free shipping.

Protects your neighbors from your meter.
Protects your neighbors from your meter...not you. The back of the meter broadcasts into your home, not the front. Duh. The only way to protect the inside of your house is to shield the rear and sides of the meter, maybe by cutting the wall behind the meter and installing faraday fabric. Have fun with that project.
