Fits in my Wolf countertop oven!
I adore this baking steel! I have a thicker steel (different manufacturer) for my main baking steel, but I was looking for one that would fit inside my Wolf brand countertop oven (toaster oven on steroids), and this one fit the bill! It makes excellent pizzas. I generally let it preheat for a minimum of 30 minutes, but the longer, the better. My Wolf only goes up to 450 degrees, but I’m sure I would have even crunchier crust if I could go higher. For my pizza crust, I’m lazy and just use the just-add-water Great Value pizza crust mix packets most of the time, and I start checking my pizza for doneness at about 7 or 8 minutes. Definitely check before then if you can bake it hotter. I highly recommend this little baking steel!

Has really upped the game for me
Bought 2 of those, then ordered a third one. The results are felt with every bake: be it sourdough bread, tart shells, puff pastry and cookies.They are heavy, retain heat long after oven turned off and stabilize the temperature within my setup.I sometimes preheat them on my stovetop to get them up to speed

Perfect for Artisan Breads!
I used this baking steel to bake sourdough breads on yesterday and it worked amazingly well. I had a stone, which broke and I replaced it with this. I baked 7 loaves and a pan of mini-baguettes on this steel - all of them had beautiful crusts and great flavor. This also helps with heat retainage as you're opening and closing your oven to switch out loaves or pans - it doesn't take as long to get back to temp with the hot steel in there.Worth every penny. Thank you.

Better than I anticipated
I was originally looking for a stone to fit in my convection oven when I came upon the steel idea. That looked lots better and I'm glad I found it. They works great, fit in my oven perfectly and with two of them, I can use two shelves to bake. Great product, I'm very pleased.

a little small for my ANOVA oven
I bought this as a tool to bake bread in my ANOVA oven. It works for the intended purpose but I was hoping it was a little big bigger. That said, it was inexpensive and serves its purpose well. Recommend you season this with a bit of oil and cook to prevent it from rusting.

A must have for serious pizza makers
This pizza steel is a must have if you want a crispy crust, especially for those of you making super thin crust pizza Napoletana. The heat retention is excellent so just a few minutes of re-heating is needed between pizzas. My two-burner propane grill will get this pizza steel up to 500°F with 20 minute of preheating. It takes about six minutes to cook a 12 to 13 inch pizza with nice leoparding on the crust. The only thing that is lacking on the finished pizza is a thick, charred edge since a grill does not have any direct heat on the sides or the top. Despite that, it still tastes great and it is satisfying to roll the pizza cutter and hear and feel the crunch all the way across the pizza.

Don't Buy, damaged and rusted x2
DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT. The first steel arrived scratched, pitted, and rusted. Had high hopes for the replacement only for it to arrive with more rust and a defect/hole in the side. The packaging was undamaged and the prodects were packaged like new. Either they're repeatedly selling used products or are selling damaged products knowingly. Couldn't be more disappointed
