This book is well-written, with a touch of humor to make the mathematics go down more easily. The chapters are bite-size, but highly condensed, so you cover a lot of material quickly. Having never studied logic formally before, I find it very helpful to read a chapter, think about it, then read it again once it has percolated through my brain. It's a remarkably challenging book for one so small. Highly recommend for anyone who would like a primer on traditional and modern logic, linguistic and mathematical.

This book is excellent! It is very well-written, clear, and concise. It is a great introduction to an important topic, that seems all too short in supply these days: LOGIC. I recommend this book highly for anyone interested in the subject.
