I make fairy crafts. Little odds and ends, bits and pieces. Evidence of fairies. Think The Secret World of Arrietty. And my daughter has a fairy who leaves her gifts. So my train case was my station. Easy to pack up and hide. But I bought it when I was maybe 14, and it's been around for another 14 years. It's not even broken, I just felt I needed a new one. Let me just say, right off the bat, I never looked at the dimensions. This thing is HUGE. I stilled filled it, but it's gigantic! Awesome. Secondly, the trays open with the "doors". My old one opened one way and the trays came out the other way. Super hard to work around. So this is also awesome. Seems very sturdy, though I don't plan on doing more than bringing it from the bedroom to the kitchen and back again. It's so extremely customizable. I made a spot for every little thing. Bottles, glitter, ribbon, trinkets, shells, marbles, on and on and on. I can easily find everything and not waste time digging. It has support hinges on the underside of the doors so you don't feel like you're cracking it backwards. It was $56, so kinda expensive. But if it holds up, it's absolutely worth it. I expect this to last long past my daughter's childhood years and maybe gift it to her as an adult! I'm sure the other colors are gorgeous, but I did see reviews that the flowery pink gold one ISN'T customizable. If that's important to you, this is it (again, the other colors are also very pretty. I just felt this for more with the fairy-theme. Slightly disappointed the flower one didn't have customizable trays).

Joligrace 6 tray makeup train case. Awesome buy for all your make-up, nail polish, etc. My products were pilled up on each other in my make-up bag which made me have to dig for what I wanted. This case has more than enough storage to organize everything so I can see my products easily. It has a solid build and comes with dividers and a strap for traveling. I love it!

I am in love with this train case!! I used to have a mini vanity (desk with drawer full of makeup) that I wanted to convert back to a regular computer desk. I wanted to make sure the makeup storage case I use will fit all my makeup. This train case fit all of the criteria that I was looking for. I did not expect ALL of my eyeshadow palettes to fit in this train case!! I'm still in awe that the bottom part (as shown in the pics provided) can fit so many eyeshadow/makeup palettes. The bottom storage is IMPRESSIVELY deep so it can fit your foundation as well. It fits everything in my makeup collection from my lipsticks, mascaras, eyeliners, blushes, bronzers, etc. This train case is extremely sturdy, attractive, and can pose as a decoration in your room without looking too out of place. The "gunmetal" and all black hardware makes this look quite expensive as well. As mentioned, the dividers are removable (I removed three of them from the bottom to fit all my eyeshadow palettes) which makes this train case versatile. It also comes with several keys if you want to lock it. I highly recommend to check the dimensions of this train case as I'm sure it won't fit super large palettes. Luckily, I haven't purchased large palettes so this wasn't an issue for me. However, if your palette is quite long but shorter in height then you can adjust the dividers to size it to your liking. Overall, this is the best purchase I have made and I'm glad I have my makeup all on one place! *Please note that I don't store my foundation/setting sprays here but I'm sure I can make it fit if I wanted to.

I have a ton of makeup, and this Oligrace train case holds it all. The adjustable trays make it easy to keep everything organized — multiple palettes, lipsticks, powders and liquids all have their place. I love how I can open it up and see everything at once without digging through bags. Sturdy, professional-looking, and perfect for home use, but way too big for travel.

Wow this box is awesome! I was getting tired of having all my makeup spread out between SEVERAL different pouches and needed a place to store everything. This gorgeous thing did the trick! The rainbow shimmer in the stars on the exterior is so eye catching too! It fits me so well and I love it! It fits the 14 shadow pallets I've got, my eye lashes container, my Anastasia highlighter pallet, 4 foundation bottles, several wedge primers, 3 blush compacts, 4 contour compacts, 3 other highlighter compacts, all my moisturizers, my 5 different concealers, 2 small travel setting sprays, 2 lip scrubs, and still has room for extra accessories like my sponges, a kabuki brush, extra eye shadow sponges, and my collection of lipsticks. Holy crap! The only bad thing I can say about it is it's heavy once you fill it up. The weight of it makes it a bit of a challenge to travel with if you have back or joint problems like me. The locking latches too aren't going to be much of a deterrent for someone who really wants to grab your stuff but they will definitely help keep the items inside from accidently opening and spilling out everywhere. If you're going to get on a plane, make sure you count it as your second carry-on because I don't think it will survive being thrown around as a piece of checked luggage. It's sturdy for sure but I wouldn't recommend it. Your makeup inside might break or the corners might get smashed.

Edit - After 2+ years, I've updated my rating to 4 stars (from 3). I've been using this case almost daily for over 2 years now, and it's still in great shape and I'm still happy with my purchase. But again, after 2 years, I am still "gentle" and careful when opening the case because it still feels like the brackets will bend and break on me, but so far so good, and overall, I am really happy with this case! This case is very large and should have enough room for the average person's makeup collection. I like the outside texture of the case, and love the bottom compartments. They are lined with like a rubber or soft but tough memory foam type coating. The top trays are a thick sturdy plastic. You may want to put a liner in the trays to dampen the noise of plastic/glass products on the plastic trays, or to keep from accidentally dropping or damaging your products in the plastic trays. I had some leftover foam type "non-slip" drawer or cabinet shelf liner that works great. You can get it for $1 a roll at a dollar store. A roll is obviously way too much for these few trays, so you can use it for some kitchen shelves or drawers too. The dividers in the lower top trays and bottom compartment are a bit confusing to move/remove. I read previous complaints that they were impossible to remove because of the setup of the case, but it can be done. The dividers are a bit flexible, but don't overdo it, because they are hard plastic after all, and plastic will break. After figuring it out myself, I found this great little video related directly to this case (or at least a very similar case), and wish I would have seen it first to save me the trouble of figuring it out. I am glad I chose this 6 upper tray case over another 4 upper tray case I was considering. The 4 trays would not have worked for me. I really love this case and wonder why I never considered buying one before. It makes it very easy to find exactly what I'm looking for without having to dig through a bunch of stuff. I had been storing my makeup and accessories in decorative baskets because they looked nice, but they were uncovered showing the contents, and surely were not organized. Now my makeup is organized, and no one has to see that I put on my makeup at my computer desk! My reasons for 3 stars (originally): 1. The locks do not work on the case I received. This is not an issue for me because it is for my home use only (no travel), and I have no small children to keep out of the case. It would have been nice to have them function as intended though, since it was a feature I paid for. 2. The brackets that hold/open the upper trays are a little flimsy. They are not as sturdy as they should be, and seem like they will bend over time if I'm not careful opening and closing the trays. Only time will tell. They have already tried to bend on me, and I'm assuming it is because of the weight of all the makeup. The trays glided very well when it was empty. The brackets clearly have to be almost paper thin for the box to function as intended, but I hope the manufacturer will consider using a stronger metal material in the future. I would have paid a higher price for a stronger product. For now, I suggest being very gentle, and make sure you keep the trays perfectly straight when opening and closing them.

Do not base your opinion if this case will meet your needs solely because it was designed for makeup. I have searched for a suitable case for my SCUBA tools and parts and found this case by Joligrace to more than meet my needs. The six trays offer a lot of options for small items to longer tools. I formerly used an injected plastic tool case, which served the purpose, but the advantage of the Joligrace case is that it has a metal exterior and allows you to see all your case content when the lid is open. My former case was within 0.5 inches of being the same dimensions of the Joligrace case, though, the Joligrace case allowed for better organization of my items so I actually have more room than before. The biggest advantage for me is the ease to spot what tool or part I need without opening up drawers or other compartments (as the opened trays allow for easy viewing). The base of the case has removable padded dividers (bottom plates) that can be arranged however you wish or you can remove them all together to create one large storage compartment. Each tray has 19 divider slots so you can also arrange each tray for small components or have no dividers for an open tray for longer items. The case comes with 12 plastic tray dividers. If you need more dividers, contact Joligrace and you can arrange to receive additional dividers. The trays themselves are made of plastic, but are sturdy in construction. The customer service has been very easy to work with and they are very accommodating to your needs. I do not travel much with Joligrace case so cannot comment fully for traveling, however, it is very portable and easy to store. The Joligrace case is very sturdy as I have about 12 pounds of tools in the case and there is no deflection of the case or lid when I pick the case up by the handle. So this case is much more than just for makeup – it can be handy for: tools, craft supplies, paints, hobbies, collectables, parts, or general organizing.

I have been using this for about a year now and looks as new as the day I bought it. Hands-down this is one of my favorite purchases. It keeps all of my nail supplies perfectly organized in one place. No more digging, no more chaos, no more “where did I put that file?”. Don’t let the pretty exterior fool you, this thing holds a ton of stuff. Polishes, tools, files, accessories… it all fits. The adjustable trays make it super easy to customize for exactly what you need, and everything is visible and easy to grab. Sturdy, well-made, and honestly just satisfying to open and use. If you’re serious about nails (or makeup) and want organization that actually works and looks good doing it, this is it. Highly recommend. My inner neat freak is very happy. Oh, and it is a great price; worth every penny I spent. I should get one for free as I have recommended it to so many of my friends.

This make up case brought tears to my daughters eyes. Perfect tween and teen huge make up case. The holographic and designs in the picture do not do it justice! It is beautiful!
