Good Memory Game for Kids
Sherlock is a fun memory game that my kids often request as a pre-bedtime activity. To set up the game, 8 cards (we used 6 cards initially when the kids were getting used to the game) are drawn and placed face-up in a ring around the remainder of the deck which serves as a draw pile. Everyone gets a chance to look at the 8 cards for 30 seconds or so, then all cards are flipped face-down. The player to the right of the start player then places the "Sherlock" card next to one of the 8 cards. The start player then must say what object is on that card. If the player is correct, the card is flipped face-up and the next card is determined by the number and the direction of the arrow printed on the top of the card just revealed (i.e. the player might next have to remember what is on the card 2 cards clockwise from that card or 4 cards counter clockwise....). Play continues until the player incorrectly identifies an object (in which all cards are flipped face-down again) or the arrows lead to a card which has already been revealed (in which case that card is placed in front of the player and a new card from the draw deck is put in its place). The first person to collect 6 cards wins the game.49 cards are included with the game and pictures on the cards include simple objects such as a clock, a fish, a banana, a feather, etc... The cards are slightly smaller and thicker than your average playing card making them relatively sturdy. Sherlock works well for kids from about age 4 on up and plays in approximately 15 minutes making this a great before-bedtime game. The small deck of cards also packs well making this a great game to throw in the suitcase when going on vacation. We enjoy this one!

Great family game!
There are not so many games that are easy enough for my kids to play yet not extremely boring that I hate playing with my kids (anyone else hate candyland). This game is amazing my 5 year old had no problem picking it up my 8 year old loves it and my husband and I not only tolerate it but enjoy it. Great family game. Helps kids and adults sharpen their memory, and just when you think you finally got it down the board changes and you have to memorize it again. Someone gifted us this game, and we never would have thought to buy it, but it really is a fantastic addition to our game library and its one of our go to games for family game night.

Fun memory game
Sherlock is such a great game! It’s challenging, yet engaging enough that children (and adults) want to play even when it’s difficult for them. Great game to use at the end of OT sessions.

My 7 and 5 year old grandchildren loved the game
During the holidays I visited my grandchildren and gave them this game. They loved the game morning, noon and nighttime. They even preferred the game over the high tech computer/television based games they recently received as birthday and Christmas gifts.I spoke with their mom this month and they're still playing the game regularly. My 7-year old grandson has improved his attention and listening skills too by using/playing the game. I'm a former teacher and highly recommend this game; it's actually fun for adults and would be excellent for elderly folks too that need to sharpen up their memory skills.

Great Game for Kids
I bought this game for my nephews - 5 & 7, they really enjoy the game and it is fun for adults as well. It is a memory style game that takes about 20 minutes to play. The card quality is good and thick, kind of hard to shuffle, but easy to pick up and turn over. One of the great things about this game is that It is very scalable. If you think it's too easy, then just add more cards in the circle. Overall a very simple game and concept, but it's efficient and it provides fun and laughter pretty much consistently. Highly recommended kids game.

Was disappointed....
Was disappointed... It contains only one pack of cards. I paid $23 and it did look very used.
