Oral Analgesic Gel Maximum Strength 20% Benzocaine .42oz (TWO)

This product seems to work as well as the name brand, however, it does taste bad.The product is made in China and that fact is not divulged in the listing here on Amazon. Because this product is used internally, and because it's made in China, and because of China's dismal safety record, I will NOT be purchasing this item again. Amazon should definitely warn folks that this is made in China.

This Orajel Gel, like other gels, does help tooth and gum pain-but for a very short time. The gel doesn't have the lasting effect that pastes have. I wish Amazon would offer more analgesic mouth pastes and cut down on the gels. I have a very dry mouth due to having rheumatoid arthritis. I also have sensitive teeth. Even with my really dry mouth, what saliva I do have washed the gel out, so the pain relief is VERY BRIEF. I don't think I'll buy this again. Unfortunately, I'll have to go to the store to try to find analgesic PASTE, since I looked and looked and couldn't find any on Amazon.

This gave great relief. It is in a gel form, though, as opposed to the thicker grainy type. All that means is that it mixes with the saliva quicker. What I do is lay with the affected side down, apply the gel on and preferably between the teeth. Then I close my mouth and let the saliva mix with the medicine and use my cheek muscles to kind of keep the pool of anesthetic saliva against the teeth. Soon they are deeply numbed. The effect lasts for about half an hour, but it I don't eat or drink something cold the nerve remains calm and without pain after the anesthetic wears off.

For a generic off brand, this is better than I thought it would be, and I set the bar very, very low. The taste isn’t great, but it’s not nausea inducing overwhelming gross either. After applying using a combination of my fingertips and q-tips, it numbed up the part of my tooth that broke/cracked. I wish it was a bit more long lasting but that’s really the only complaint I have.

I purchased this 25 GC which went well. But after having a rep lie to me and 2 team leaders giving me attitude and writing smug Notes in my profile. All I wanted what was promised to me and what was set up in the first place. “Refund on first scan” but after all day calling back with disconnection and getting different answers. I asked the team leader if I can be compensated for my time and for having a promise broken. Instead of the team leader named James issuing a little 10$ dollar coupon for my time, he would rather argue with me and lose a loyal customer that spends a 1,000 a month. So I decided to ask for a refund for the G.C I applied and all my item I purchased in the last month and too cancelled my prime member ship. He didn’t even care and replied with “doesn’t effect me”

This works for like two seconds and then the pain is back. Only good thing about it is that while using this you sort of build up a tolerance for you pain. I accidentally ordered two packs and they wouldn't give me a refund because it'd "already shipped". Which was bull but whatever. You, also, cannot return this product which really sucks as well especially since it doesn't work.

doesn't seem to be as good as regular orajel and it tastes awful.

Great price for it, the taste isnt something to brag about, but it does work with numbing.
