Great tool to keep your door pocket. Avoid standing on your door or seat to grab skis/ gear from roof cargo box. I recommend the orange color so it’s visible and you don’t accidentally shoot the door with this still installed.

Getting on the roof if my lifted first gen sequoia was very cumbersome stepping on the seats and ladders and all that. I wasn’t sure if the angle of the jam would allow a step like this to work well. Went with this one over the shark tank advertised design and very glad I did. It’s a much better design and super sturdy while being super safe for the vehicle. The adjustability of both the angle of the step and the angle of the rubber pads to rest against the jam make finding a proper angle very easy and reliable. This thing is definitely a staple for any suv owner that does roof rack things. 10/10 very pleased

It works well, but it makes a better step if the U bar on the door frame that it hooks on to is low on the frame.

Wow! What a novel idea. Used it last weekend to wash my car. It's very sturdy and easy to use. For a short guy, this makes it so easy to wash the top of my BMW X1. Recommend for anyone that can't reach the top of their car.

The media could not be loaded.  I actually purchased this pedal as a mod for my lawn tractor. The original pedal is more of a knob: super small, pointy and very uncomfortable to use. This pedal only takes a hacksaw (or your cutting tool of preference), a drill and a few minutes to mod and install:FIRST, make sure you buy the medium/standard size: it is made out of nylon and is very easy to cut. The large version is made out of aluminum and is just too big.SECOND, remove the chicago screws and disassemble the pedal.THIRD, using a hacksaw, remove the bottom bridge to extend the existing opening, so the pedal can go over the tractor's arm.FOURTH, drill a hole from side to side on the bottom of the pedal and on the tractor's arm.FIFTH, connect the pedal to the arm on two points: one screw only on the left side, and a chicago screw from side to side on the bottom.You can use the hardware that comes with this pedal. I replaced it afterwards to make it look more factory, but that is optional. Check the pictures and you can see how easy it is to do this mod.RESULT: This full size pedal is SO comfortable to use. I have a big property and I can mow for hours and not get tired. Highly recommended.

When we travel, we used to get our ladders out to get up on the car roof to fill the roof rack carrier. Of course, we had one heck of a time --- when we arrived at our destination --- trying to get everything unpacked from the roof rack because there was no way we could take our ladders with us.These heavy-duty shoe-sized steps clamp easily into your car door latch (when the car door is open) which makes climbing up on the car to access the roof rack easier. Since they are portable, we take them with us and getting the roof rack emptied is now easier too.We bought two. One for each side of the car so two of us could work at the same time. We ordered the large and I'm glad we did. The small would be too small. I have large feet and would appreciate if they made an even larger "large", like maybe an "extra large".

Others were cheaper but I was happy I spent more. Sturdy and robust. Never hurts to buy the best.

What a clever gadget idea. When the luggage rack is on the car I keep it inside, then leave it in the rack when it's off so I know where to find it. I would not recommend a non-safety color, it would be too easy to slam the door on it when installed.If you have a need to access the top of your vehicle this is the way to go instead of leaving foot prints on the seat. Look around for the best price, they seem to vary, though I don't know if they all collapse and stow the same.

I wanted quick access to the roof box on my LR Defender and came across this idea. I keep it in the door pocket and can get up to the roof within 10 seconds. It's really strong and doesn't move under my weight (approx 190 lbs). The rubber protectors do a great job at avoiding any damage to paintwork too.
