Fits great, firearm secure and safe. You'll forget it's there!
**Fits a Taurus GX4 (9mm) perfectly. Thought I'd call that out first in case anyone is searching for a drop holster for this firearm. If you go any bigger than a GX4, you're going to have some problems concealing it wearing your average boot-cut or reg-fit pants. This would probably be even more ideal for a 380 -- the GX4 is pushing the limit. Ex-US Army Infantry (2006-2010) and have carried most of my adult life. This is honestly the most comfortable, best-fitting holster I've ever had. I've carried a lot for a prior job using drop-thigh holsters, IWB's, and out of waist band. IWB holsters are an easy reach and have a ton of options and styles available, but man, they cut into the hip pretty good and are annoying when driving. I moved across the country a few years ago, and I was out for a late night walk a few weeks ago when I came across some individuals robbing a construction site. Completely unarmed and in gym sweats and a jacket, walking away from that, I realized it's time to start carrying again. I wanted something that fit snug but wasn't difficult to conceal. IWB + sweats don't really work that well. This thing is great. I wish I could give this 10 stars. I'm so glad I came across this one; the GX4 gets a little heavy when loaded + an extra loaded mag to carry. I'm really happy I went with this one that has the attached calf strap. If I went with a pure ankle-only holster, the firearm would probably be wobbling all over the place. It is definitely breathable. When I take the holster off, I don't get that rush of cool air like you would if it was made of any other material. My only complaint is I wish the snaps were a little quieter. If I was ever in a situation where I needed to draw due to a 10-71, I'd be a little worried about making noise. I wear this daily, even though I work from home and sit at my desk. I'll speak to durability in a couple months!

Really well built, calf strap often slides around for me and extra mag pouch adds more bulk
This is a very well built quality ankle holster that I bought at a more than reasonable price. However, I have to admit that I prefer the original Ultimate Ankle Holster from ComfortTac, which is the one that does not come with the extra magazine pouch and built-in calf strap. For some reason I have to position the ankle holster and calf strap just right in order to prevent it from sliding down my leg, and most of the time it eventually does anyway.I have pretty skinny legs which seem to make these calf straps more difficult for me, but I prefer the ones that are not attached to the holster. While I like the option of being able to carry a spare magazine on my ankle, and this mag pouch is very well made with a great snap button just like on the holster, it does add more bulk to your leg which make concealing and drawing more difficult depending on the pants you are wearing. Like I said this is a very good ankle holster with more options than you normally get, but I prefer the original Ultimate Ankle Holster more because it is so easy to strap on and wear all day comfortably, where-as the built-in calf strap for this holster makes putting it on and adjusting it more difficult and time consuming, and the mag pouch adds more bulk.

Only once in a while are you actually surprised by an item's value...this is one of those times
I have been a CCW carrier for 20+ years now. Like most in my age group and or experience level, we have at least one box of holsters hidden in a box in the corner of the garage that you let friends pick through in the hopes that they will one day disappear....I have two. In that regard I am a good person to ask about holsters that don't work. When the planets align properly, every other blue moon, you find one that works well. This is one of those times. As I get older I find myself carrying the J-frame on my ankle more and more frequently. Dress changes, the requirement for all day comfort climbs on your list of priorities and this style of carry becomes more and more preferable as long as you have a good rig. I think this is the very reason that so many love it and just as many hate it. Please take it 'from someone who has a box full of holsters that don't work and a drawer full of ones that do, this holster is worth it's weight in gold. First of all it performs way out of its price range. I have holsters that range in price from a $8.00 pocket holsters from Wally world to a $400 custom shoulder rig from Andrews Custom Leather works...this one is well worth the price. It is very comfortable for extended wear (8-12 hours) and will work to carry many different firearms. From my experience I can tell you that this is the best 20.00 holster I have purchased, and one of the best ankle rigs that I have owned. At this point I only use this and the Galco ankle glove and it is just as comfortable but 1/5 of the price.

Excellent holster
Before I bought this holster, I read many reviews of other ankle holsters, I'm super glad I bought this holster. I have normal to largeish calfs and I'm a little taller too so this really works for me. I bought it for my Sig 365 Romeozero. you have to make sure the Velcro is snug or it as a tendency to flap around a bit. if you have slim leg pants it may not conceal quite so easily. It absolutely comfortable for all day wear. My only semi-negative (if you can call it that) is the butt of the Sig has a bit of size to it and it pokes out a bit. for Comfort 5, price 5, durability 5, conceal ability 4 (would be much better with a smaller weapon). If the Velcro ever wears out, I will definitely get another.

Would get the one without calf strap
After a while the calf strap Velcro wore out even after I cleaned it up. Didn’t wear that often because the distance between calf strap and ankle strap didn’t fit well and the ankle strap never secured tight because it’s not contoured, just straight. Anyway, eventually I cut the neoprene so it’s just the ankle holster and it fits secure. It’s like they just took their regular ankle holster and addd a calf strap. If they are going to have it sit that high on the calf, the bottom strap needs to fit the angle of a calf better. Whatever. Is it fits right around the bottom of my ankle now that the calf strap is cut off. And I cut off the stupid mag pouch since this is backup and the mag pouch is very stupid. At least it was easy to modify but advice, just get the one that doesn’t have the calf strap.

Good quality and comfortable
I like the design with the calf strap seems to be more comfortable for me and more sturdy. Feels more sturdy with my 42. The extra mag pouch is a little big and the strap is also a little big to hold it in place. I put an extra mag and a knife in it still had room. Over all I like it and would recommend it.

Almost perfect
Overall this is good holster. My Glock 42 is secured well and doesn’t move around. I don’t feel nervous about my firearm falling out. I like the upper strap as I feel very comfortable that in some weird instance that the ankle velcro gave away the upper strap would keep the holster from coming off. The Glock 42 is crazy lightweight and you can barely tell you are wearing anything. I tried this holster with my Glock 30 and felt the weight but didn’t feel that the holster would fail. Only issue I have is smaller compartment. Assuming you use this for a spare mag, you may have an issue depending on the size. The mag for my 30 fit and didn’t move around but my 42 mag will fall out of the bottom. There is no bottom to this compartment so there is nothing really to hold anything in. So smaller magazines are not secure so this compartment doesn’t get used. There should be a bottom or at least a couple of stitches in it to keep things in.

Highly recommend
This is a very comfortable ankle holster. Comfort Tac also makes an ankle holster without the calf strap. Don't buy that one. Buy the one with the calf strap. I had both and this one is by far the better holster. I wear it all day long and is very comfortable. Doesn't slip down like the one without the calf strap. I carry a Ruger LCP Max and it is perfect for that size firearm. I tried larger ones, such as Ruger Security 380 and Sig Sauer P365X Macro, way too much printing. Guess it depends on what you wear, I wear dress pants to work. But I do recommend this ankle holster.
