Yes, I am guessing you have a cool season grass. It does not have the same effect on cool season grasses like it does on warm season grasses. On cool season grasses it will slow growth slightly and keep seed pods from growing. On warm season grasses it will greatly slow down vertical growth but push horizontal growth and stop seed pods from growing. Use only as directed. It is powerfull and could hurt the lawn if not used as directed.
