The BASS!!!
(10/11/25 update. Purchased in march 2023 and it’s still going strong. Many many many thousands ( literally, because I am a total shut-in😅 ) of hours of gaming, movies, and music. I often turn it all, or nearly all , the way up because I like it loud ) So I actually use this on my gaming computer and for watching movies. This little sound bar and sub is AMAZING! Is it audiophile? No if you are past 50% volume and put your ear to the sound bar, yes, you can a faint crackling or electrical noise . But sitting even 3 ft away you would never hear it . The sound tho is clear and full. It does not disappoint! The stereo separation is really good The sub is well tuned and will rattle things on my computer desk and framed pictures in my room even when the volume is at a “normal level”….if i have the bass turned up. It does have an adjustment for bass . It will hit a 20hz low with out sounding “fluffly” but it really stands out in the 180-50 hz range which is where most music and movie ( like explosions) bass effects are at. It also has several presets for music/tv/vocal ect as well as the bass level adjustment. Treble is what it is. There is no adjusting but it is well tuned. I use an HDMI connection to my computer but use the wifi connection extensively with my I phone for music . No latency issues or unwanted floor noise. It has connections for wifi, 3.5mm jack, HDMI and fiberoptic. For a bedroom or apartment this is a beast at its price point! The average person is going to be highly impressed. It’s crisp, clear, produces a full sound and a very full bass sound. Is it a high SPL bass that will thump the air out of your lungs? No…. But it is a full bass that will rattle things and is punchy enough. It does not seem to distort or clip. Is it audiophile? No. But it is remarkably clear and room filling for its price point. The sound is quite warm. Would I rank it on par with JBL products? … yeah, defiantly in that ball park of sound clarity/bass and volume ability. Waaay better than “onn” Walmart brand and at a better price. It can get quite loud and not distort. It’s all quite well balanced. The build quality is really good too. It feels very solid and the remote is very good quality. One does not get a cheap or junk feeling overall. The subwoofer enclosure is pressed particle board with a laminate outer and about 1/6 inch thick… nothing fancy but the port is tuned well for the 5.5 or 6 inch sub ( cent remember the exact size . If you are an average user / budget shopper just trying to get the best bang for your buck i would recommend this for its sound quality and build. This is definitely hitting well above its price point . If you are looking for audiophile “McIntosh” level, this isn’t it. That said, for 90% of people looking for a compact set up at a good price for an apartment or bedroom that is going to wow you…you are not going to go wrong here!!!

Great item for the money
For the price you can't beat it! Very good sound, I don't have to crank the tv up high anymore. I do not use the sub woofer I don't like all the bass when that's hooked up to it and the sound bar by itself is just great. Very easy to hook up, I'm definitely happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

if you want bass, this is your huckleberry
Product was delivered on time, and in colorful retail cardboard packaging. They made a good effort to present this item as high quality, as the interior packaging is also tinted cardboard and accompanied by neatly packaged printed inserts and manuals. As noted by others, they even include a pair of small gloves, presumably to prevent smudging the piano black gloss finish of the soundbar. All of the separate cables (HDMI, optical, 3.5mm to dual analog RCA) were individually wrapped in plastic, and the wall mount screws and anchors were in their own bag too. manuals and instructions were neatly folded, but not really necessary for experienced handlers of home electronics. The soundbar and LFE (subwoofer) are well padded and protected by hard styrofoam. Set up was easy. I'd estimate less than 15 minutes overall for wall mounting. Obviously, if the soundbar is just going to sit on a table top, the setup would be more like 5 minutes. If you are going to wall mount the soundbar, my advice is to NOT use the included paper stencil for drilling holes. Measure the distance and mark it off for yourself using a level. Because the stencil is pre-folded and creased (as opposed to rigid), it probably will leave your holes off by millimeters So, how does the soundbar perform? First, let me say that I purchased this duo to replace my 32" KMOUK soundbar. The KMOUK was crisp and clear, but the audio lacked depth due to weak bass response. So I found this combo and purchased it because it had a dedicated LFE. The bass delivers. Even without adjusting the bass, it delivers in a big, bold way. tip for beginners: bass is non directional sound, but placement of the subwoofer is IMPORTANT. if you can, ALWAYS place subwoofers in a corner. So the bass was excellent. What about the soundbar? It was a little disappointing. In comparison, the KMOUK only needed volume 5 to be fully audible. This soundbar needs to be on at least 10 to hear the full range of the speakers. The listening modes were detectable, but not impressive. Testing the speaker with music (Billie Eilish) her voice faded behind the music. In sum, I went from having no bass to terrific bass. But I also went from crisp highs and mids to mostly muddled mids. A minor complaint: I don't see a way to turn off the soundbar LED. Even when the power is OFF, the LED remains on. I don't regret the purchase, but if you are replacing another speaker system, be aware that you may have to compromise on sound quality.

Good value, excellent support
I replaced an Onkyo 5.1 surround sound system with this sound bar. The Onkyo was an older system, with wired speakers and the remote didn't work well. I had heard an amazing sound bar while in an AirBnB so I was convinced that the sound could be great (but unfortunately didn't note the model of the sound bar that impressed me so much). Anyway, I took a chance with this sound bar, given it's positive reviews, Dolby decoding, subwoofer and HDMI ARC to work with my TV. I'm not disappointed. It is not the "richest" sounding system, nor the most powerful, but it sounds good, the clarity is excellent, and although some channels require that we turn up the volume most of the way, I've never detected any distortion. We don't like overwhelming bass (nor overwhelming volume, for that matter), and the subwoofer is plenty for us - we actually have it notched down a couple of steps. The remote has some preset mixer settings - I don't notice a lot of difference between them, but we keep it in movie mode, as we are mostly watching show/movies with some Pandora music in between. You can separately adjust treble and bass up or down via the remote. The construction of both the sound bar and remote feels solid. We have only used this connected by HDMI to our TCL Roku TV and the connection works perfectly. It detects Dolby inputs, responds to the TV remote, and even responds to "Volume up/down" command to the TV via Alexa. (You do have to use the sound bar remote to set the input to HD mode when receiving from an HDMI source - and you may have to change the audio settings of your TV) The product has worked flawlessly so we didn't really need to contact the seller. But the product arrived with a surprise coupon to receive a free set of bluetooth earbuds. Unfortunately we couldn't get the associated website to accept our coupon code. Not a huge deal, but I wrote to the seller and was pleasantly surprised by their prompt responses. We could never get the website submission to work, so after a few message exchanges, the seller agreed to send us the earbuds based on our receipt and coupon code. They arrived a few days later. You may not get the same little present with your purchase, but the experience gave me a great deal of confidence in the seller. My only minor annoyance with the sound bar is the little LED display which shows indicates responses to any input, including from the TV (e.g. volume, starting a show, etc.). When acknowledging any new input, the display shifts to a super-bright annoying level for a few seconds. Bug the heck out of me so I put a couple layers of translucent tape over the display and all is well. Overall, a very nice product, good bang for the buck, and a reliable seller.

WOW! I am impressed!!!
Received the soundbar today and hooked it up with the HDMI cable. It did the rest. Such an easy setup. I immediately went to Prime Video and checked out the movie sound and I have to say that there is a bunch of bang for your buck here. I was going to buy the Samsung Q60T 5.1 but after reading a good number of the reviews I noticed something very consistent with a lot of the negative reviews and that was that Samsung support was a big pain you know where to get them to fix problems and that sometimes the wait time was a week for a Technician. I don't know about you but if I buy something new and there is problems getting it going the last thing I want is to have to wait a week for the problem to be looked at and quite possibly not fixed on that day. So I kept looking and ran across this little gem. It was almost exactly half the cost with the extended warranty and I have to tell you I don't think I could be happier. The sound is big, bright and full and bass and treble are adjustable. I found 4 presets on the remote: NEWS, MOVIE, MUSIC & 3D. It also automatically connected to the TV remote and the Cable remote for volume control. Like I said "I couldn't be happier". Now...I just received it today and I will update in a few months or if I have any problems occur and fill you in on the details of how well the problem was handled. But going by the reviews it sounds like this Company takes care of its' customers. UPDATE: I have had this soundboard for over 7 months now and have not had a problem. It still delivers great sound! After my original review I saw that I could adjust the bass and treble separately and that just made it even better. The sound quality is different on every movie when it is made. Having the ability to adjust really helps! In all honesty, I am really pleased with the performance of this unit and would recommend it to anyone. UPDATE: I have been told in an email from one of this companies representatives that there are reviews being posted that state that Amazon Prime, Apple+, Netflix and other media providers won't work with this system. That is absolutely ridiculous! I'll tell you why. This sound system doesn't interface with media providers, it interfaces with your TV's audio system. If these channels will work on your TV they will work even better through this Sound System.(Period)

Great value. Here are my frequency response observations.
It’s better than I expected for the price. I want to include the information I couldn’t find before purchasing for all the audio enthusiasts that might be considering this. There is a pretty strong peak around 51hz bellow which the frequency response rolls off very fast. By the time you get to 42hz it’s pretty much inaudible. There seems to be a small dip in the mid bass range 150-350hz or so, but it’s nothing crazy. These are not lab tests, just my observation as a professional music producer slowly sweeping a sine wave though it like the nerd that I am, but have another sound system in the same room and do not have the same resonant frequencies. Overall it does sound a little… on the cheap side but it’s definitelyI listenable. It won’t shake the pictures off the wall but I find its reasonably loud for sure. I bought to be an improvement over my TV speakers and it is a huge improvement. I for want an amazing sounding home theater system that punches you in the gut, you’ll need to spend a lot more money, but for around $60 I can’t imagine you’ll find much better then this.

Compact and inexpensive system gives solid performance.
First off let me say that I'm using the P15 model in my spare room/office which isn't very big, about 10ft x 12ft. That being said this little sound bar/subwoofer combo is plenty! Don't expect high end audio, but I've heard worse for significantly more money. The subwoofer really only kicks in when the bass is turned up and the volume is around midrange or higher. Without the subwoofer really at work the sound is reasonably full, and with the sub kicking in it's actually pretty darn impressive. I've been using it for DVDs, Netflix, Prime, and Hulu all with satisfying results. This might not be enough for a large living room, but for the price I would sure consider it. I watched the original Predator with it and got pretty respectable performance, including the famous minigun throw down. I would have liked just a touch more bass, but that's really nitpicking. My only misgivings are that the power cord is pretty short (about 3ft) and the volume increases in larger increments than a normal tv or surround sound system - basically 3:1. The subwoofer cord is a decent length though, about 6.5 ft and the HDMI is about 5ft. Speaking of cables, this model does not come with a digital optical cable. I saw that in the description and knew I'd need it on on my setup, so I got a 3 meter Amazon one for 9 bucks. Just fyi, with the digital optical cable your tv remote will not control the volume on the P15. The sound quality will be the same though. Setup and operation are easy, the bass control on the remote is just a little odd; left for more, right for less. I found, surprise surprise, that the movie sound setting is best for movies, music for -yep- music, but the dialogue setting didn't impress me too much. I'm just leaving it set on movie, that seems to be the best all around choice. If you're looking for a simple, inexpensive, compact setup (soundbar is 16"w x 4"d x 3"h, sub is 14"h x 5.5"w x 9"d) with decent sound I'd recommend this one.

An OK Soundbar for the living room.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I attempted to return this because I believe the unit I received is defective. However, it is not returnable so I ended up just getting a refund. PROS: Sounds pretty good for what it is Bluetooth works no problem Easy to hookup Only a couple EQ settings, so not complicated CONS: Basically constant popping and fizzing (reason I think it's defective) It goes to "sleep" almost as soon as audio stops Always starts at volume 10 when first turned on I purchased this to replace a full 5.1 channel system that was ancient and starting to give me issues. The cooling fan on it could be heard over the audio! But I wanted something cleaner than the full system, so a 2.1 soundbar was the way to go for me. Packaging was great and it arrived in a huge box that my cat later enjoyed. Easy to get out of the box and set up. Instructions pretty good as well. I hooked it up using optical rather than HDMI because I didn't have a spare HDMI port to use just for audio. I have too many things hooked up to my TV. Initial sound quality was basically on par with my 10+ year old 5.1 system. Clear highs with good separation. The little subwoofer kicks above its size. Basically no complaints on me for sound quality. I don't expect audiophile quality, just something fun to enjoy movies and console games with. By the way, the popping and fizzing is present on every input, even Bluetooth. But then came the popping and fizzing. It's basically constant, occurring every 3-5 seconds but sometimes it doesn't do it for 20+ minutes at a time. It's really random and odd. I guess something is bad in the amplifier, but I am no electrician. But this is the reason why I wanted to get a replacement as I can't stand it when I hear it. Thankfully, with enough audio like a song or action movie, you can mostly mask the pops and fizzes. That's why I still use it only when I am watching movies basically, which isn't that often anymore. This thing also goes to "sleep" nearly instantly. When the audio stops, you can hear the amp basically turn off and the speaker goes silent. When the audio starts again, it takes a second to two to wake back up and start playing again. This is just stupid design really. I can see going to sleep after 5 minutes, or even 1 minute, but instantly is super annoying. If there's a break in the dialogue in a quiet scene, you won't hear the first few words they say when they start talking again. But when you rewind to hear it again, the unit goes to sleep again! It's frustrating. HOWEVER, none of the other reviews mention this that I saw, so maybe it's part of the amplifier issue I mentioned above. The starting on volume 10 thing isn't a big deal. It scares the pants off me sometimes, but most of the time I turn the bar on before anything is playing. Just something I have to remember when I turn it on. In the end, I can't give this one star because the customer service was great and made the problem right. I would have preferred to get a replacement, but the refund works. It still sounds good at the end of the day too. If mine wasn't defective, it would be an easy 5-star review.
