Where's the Ladybug?

This is a lift flap; however, the flap is felt. The felt makes it easier for very young child (1 year old) to lift the felt flap to find the hidden picture. Fun! There are other books in this "Where's the ..." series. Highly recommend.

This isn’t the actual book purchased from Amazon as that one was given as a gift. We loved this book so much we regift it all the time! Video is of our old and very worn copy (so it may differ slightly from newer versions). My son and daughter both loved this soo much and continue to like it after they are “too old” for it. It also is very durable (though repeatedly stepping on ours by little feet has damaged the outside of the binder slightly). 100% recommend for littles who enjoy finding, peek a boo, and tactile books. Can also be used to teach colors and cause and effect. (Back of book states for ages 0-3 years).

All of our kids have ripped normal flaps off of lift-the-flap books when they were at a young age. But this felt flap changes all of that! I’ve loved these books so much that I bought this book after the Christmas one by this author. Some children’s books have too many illustrations and are too ‘busy’ for them to read, but this is a perfect, more simple book. Our18 month old wants to read them over and over again! I’ll be buying two more of her books soon for my sisters at their baby showers.

I bought "Where's the Ladybug?" storybook to go with a ladybug baby blanket, block & burp cloth set that I'm making (with Joann's Super Snuggle Flannel.) Matchy-matchy. This is a precious, little (7.25" x 7.25"), hard-cover book. The pages are sturdy. The flaps are made from a soft felt. The colors are nice and bright. There are five (5) "Where's the....." (Caterpillar, bee, snail, ladybug, and "Where are you?" with a shiny mirror under the flap! Even Grandpa got a kick out of that!!) I love that this is an interactive book, which is what I usually buy because the little ones love to participate in "reading" the book.

My daughter loves this book. She’s 3yo and she’s into book now. The illustrations are nice with vivid colors. The reading is enjoyable and the peeka boo flaps are fun.

12 month old loved it! I liked that the pieces of fabric were soft felt and easy to open and close. She loved it and found the ladybug instantly. The only thing I wish is that it had more pages.

Someone gave us a couple books by this author and they’re the best for babies under 1 to read and play along with you! Most other books didn’t hold my daughter’s interest. I got this one from my friend’s baby shower because we enjoyed ours so much! The felt flaps are also very strongly attached so despite tons of yanking and pulling my baby hasn’t damaged the book in any way.
