Arrived As Described!
Well for one, it came with no instructions on how to set it up, so I had a bit of confusion putting it together, which I managed to do. Otherwise, it is amazing and can take better quality photos of most of my products! Small AND portable and easy to set up once you figure out what you are doing haha..

Studio is for small items - jewelry, miniatures, and I love it!
Read the description well and you will see that this is for very small items, which suits me fine since I bought it to photograph jewelry and other tiny things that I make.First, you HAVE to look at the pictures in the directions in order to set this up and tear it down without damaging it. The snaps on the side are plastic, as are the walls, and it takes a gentle hand to put it together without damaging it. It took me a second to realize that if you force any of the parts of this, something's gonna break. So now, I managed to put it together and discovered the backdrops, and for just that one reason, this got five stars. I have no idea who out there in Amazon-land takes pictures of jewelry or small items, but getting the background to blend or contrast well with the subject is very difficult when you don't have a lot of choices. This comes with backdrops of black, white, green, and red. I took pictures with a couple of the colors because I was so pleased at the way they turned out. I use a tiny tripod and a digital camera to take my pictures, and this is a very good height to work with the small tripod. The pendant drop in the first picture is about 1-1/2" long and photographed wonderfully in this studio. I'm sold, and would definitely buy again, and would recommend it for anyone taking pictures of miniatures of any kind.

Great for the money BUT
I received my portable photo studio today. First the negatives: 1) It came in a somewhat flimsy carry-all bag 2) There was no cable enclosed which was OK overall because I have a gazillion of them 3) There were no setup instructions. Again this was okay because the setup is really pretty easy to figure out. I am sure you're wondering why I still gave it 4 stars. I gave it four stars because it does help take awesome pictures & it sets up fast/ breaks down fast which was exactly what I was looking for. I design jewelry, predominantly earrings & this product definitely meets my needs despite its few shortcomings.

Mixed Feelings
I'm having mixed emotions about this light box. One of the things that sold me on it, the snap up feature, is causing me some grief. The corners don't quite overlap, so there is dark space at the back of the box. It isn't an issue when you're taking pictures of something small (like an rpg miniature) but would be when taking a picture of something you can't zoom in as close on (like jewelry) I think this issue could be assuaged if the light box was larger.Another issue I'm finding is that material is super staticky. I have a dog who sheds a lot, so it's virtually impossible to Keep dog fur from sticking. It's another thing to take care of in post. It seems that I need to either learn to be okay with these issues and fix them in editing, or shell out more money. What I can say in its favor is that it's incredibly easy to use. You don't have to be particularly tech savvy to make this work for you. It's plug and play. The pictures turn out pretty nice. This is a picture of a painted mini from Gloomhaven taken on my Google Pixel 5. No editing has been done to the image. Honestly, this seems to be on par with other light boxes in the same price range. For now, I'll keep this and try to make it work for my needs.

Great buy for small items. Good quality. Great value.
Easy to assemble. Folds up flat. Made of thin, flexible plastic (like a school folder). The backgrounds are made of craft foam. Snaps together which is nice. Overall decent quality.Comes with a USB cord to plug in the LED lights which are very bright. You will need an outlet adaptor (use your phone’s). I used a battery pack. You will be able to photograph only small items and will have to zoom in pretty close because the holes in the corners of the studio do show. No, the tripod is NOT included. This is a great buy for casual photography.

One star reviews sometimes just aren't fair.
I had high hopes for this item, I deal in VERY small items and wanted a small photo tent that was easy to store. This design however has several issues that makes it unusable.#1: The lighting is poor. The 'temperature' (color) of the lighting from the LEDs is such that it is VERY poor for photography, making the photos appear much darker than they should despite there being ample visible light.#2: The angle of the led strip is horrible, creating a shadow over the item you are photographing if you get too close (for macro style photos).#3: The plastic the photo-tent is made from is thick, which is good for durability, however poor for using 'exterior' light. Meaning natural light outside, or even putting a warm spotlight right above the top of it still keeps your item inside a 'cave' because the plastic doesn't diffuse the light correctly around the item. All in all this is a good idea, that is poorly executed. Maybe they need to use different plastic, relocate the LED strip, and change out the type of LEDs they use. But for now, as designed this item is next to useless for it's intended purpose.

Cheap & works great!
I was iffy on this, with it's price, but it arrived today and I'm very happy with it. Seems durable (not cardboard), lights attached to it that really help with pictures, plus 3 different backdrops. Instructions didn't match the product, but was easy enough to figure out. Description here & in the instructions mention magnets, but mine has buttons, not magnets. I think the buttons work far better than magnets would. I watched some YouTube videos of people trying to assemble these with magnets and it didn't go so well. Buttons were the way to go.
