This blanket is so incredibly soft .. I never post a review so fast but I gotta share. This i expected to be unquie when I placed my order .. turned out to be much more unquie'ly amazing than I even imagined. Looks beautiful on my bed .. it feels and looks so much thicker than it is. It really lays like ah quilt does but yet light enough to were my smarter half actually lays under there covers with me + stopped complaining about sweating from blankets.** No pets with nails recommended for cuddle'n in this. My jewelry snags and the details are very precious but delicate. Personally I tho a top sheet over for our pets. They like looking for China = will kill this amazingly beautiful treasure. Be very careful it is listed in the description & it's no joke.I'm so excited still over the quality an how poofed this really is + it's just going to get softer after every wash because of the type of cotton this is made from. There really is a difference. I bought the pale purple/pink queet blanket as well. There's a noticeable difference in touch between the two right away. Style is completely different but this feels lighter but yet a nice sleeping weight to relax into.This i love that I got the king .. I love the roomy warmth it has. These make for really nice summer bedding. I still have ah fuzzy blanket under the two because I'm ah blanket and pillow nut + colder than other's always it seems. Still last night I did pull back the covers because I was too warm. My smarter half with the over heating issues and can't sleep under covers because of .. well yeah, slept through the night great, plus under covers all night without complaining about heat once. In the morning did pull back one blanket but after resettling back into bed ((we're both sick currently)) covered fully up .. like ah normal person!!! Success!!! He really likes the look they hold too. I've never seen a grown man jump into bed & covers so fast to check them out further & relax into them. That feels really good as well.By the time summer really gets here the two will be plenty covers on ah cool Michigan night. The pale purple is built different, so it's the base blanket for us. This one is our topper blanket but main blanket for the hot hot nights .. the bigger size will always help spread and release more body heat faster. The pale is more solid but both see through in parts. The different style I figured will hold more heat before it releases. Cotton doesn't save body heat like most think. It's not a good winter fabric for maintaining heat.Over all I'm so super pleased and even more excited that this is made from Egyptian cotton. Wish the other style was as well but it's ordinary cotton.. it's stiff is all, where this blanket is far from still.Highly Recommend This Buy & Buy Big. This pattern is extremely delicious to look at and cuddle with.. specially if sharing. My smarter half is suddenly & newly comfortably relaxing with this blanket .. which has never been a thing before.. sick or not. I'm happily fully feeling satisfied that this treasure has met everyone's pleasure.I wish I could put the look into words but ya gotta see & try for yourself. This is say is a must buy guilt free. The price it completely reasonable for what you get. I've already recommend people to check these out. 😉Light weight but still comfortable weight to it.It feels heavy but feels light. From the reviews, I was concerned about the quality of this oversized blanket, but I gave it a shot anyway.The good:First, it is clearly tagged 100% cotton and it feels like it is indeed 100% cotton. Second, I washed and dried it before use per the care tag, and had no lint in the washer and almost none in the dryer. It does not have "holes in the waffle weave" and there was no change in the consistency of the color or major shrinkage after washing and drying. If anything, I may try bumping up the dryer to normal instead of low to see if I can shrink it a bit on the next wash - this thing is huge. It is also as soft as any waffle weave I have ever run across.The not so good:I was not aware that this blanket wasn't a single piece construction. It appears that it is made from a weave that is 8 feet wide by 10 feet long with another strip that is roughly 1 foot wide by ten feet long stitched onto each of the two long sides. I was not expecting that, it lays nicely on a king mattress, but it may end up being a weak spot in the long run. Upon expanding the picture on the Amazon page, I can now see the full length seam.Overall, I am pleased with the quality, color and fit.

I have two Standard Labradoodles who sleep in the bed with me. I have the West Elm Andres Side Storage bed with a linen fabric. Therefore, this is perfect to not only cover my bedding and pillows. But the footboard and drawers of the bed, which is an ivory (alabaster), which I would have to vacuum. Also, great for those times when I forget to close the pet gate to my room before going to my office (upstairs) to work for the day, as they are only allowed in my room at bed time.Also, I live in Texas and I'm hot natured. Thus, I do not sleep with a duvet in the Summer. I use a thin cotton waffle blanket (also from this bran) with a top sheet. When I added this blanket to the mix. It did not make me too hot. I was surprised since it's heavy. But realized that is due to the large size!No issues with washing it or the dogs nails that are too long at the moment. I would definitely recommend to those looking for an oversized king blanket.

Right out of the box, I loved the softness and weight and the look. As many reviewers have indicated, the blanket does run a bit small - at least for my tastes -- and I will probably size up for the next one. I washed and dried on delicate before using. The label that says to air dry, but I don't have a place to hang a queen size blanket. Drying by itself on gentle setting worked great. The blanket looks great on the bed and has a light stretch to it that I find very pleasing. First impressions are all wonderful. I wasn't tossing covers off and waking to put them back on again. The bedding didn't look like a wrestling match took place overnight. We use both a ceiling fan and AC and the blanket provides just enough warmth to protect from the breeze especially with the AC kicks on. I am ordering another for our camper. The only notes of caution would be for those with pets as its weave will easily snag and it's unclear how durable it is. I slept so well with this new blanket that I'd replace as needed without too much heartburn. I suspect that with care, it'll last multiple years.
