Worked as expected
I like the design of this TB4 hub. It’s heavier than most and makes it easier to plug and unplug cables and USB flash drives. Works exactly as it should. No problems with it at all.

Works with MBP
Great dock. Not sure why others had problems. I had an issue where I ordered the G4 and received a different dock, but amazon made it right.

Absolute Junk
Purchased this dock from Amazon and had problems from day 1. Multiple issues right out of the box. Should have returned it for refund. With HP Tech Support, managed to keep it working for 1 year + 1 month - just past the warranty. Main issue was USB Driver UCM-VCSI ACPI Device needed to be uninstalled and reinstalled after every Windows update on my HP Omen 17" laptop. Completely non-functional now. Can no longer update the driver.

Not a great experience
I assume the HP docking unit will work for my LG Laptop. I was frustrated when it kept disconnecting my monitors. Every time it would keep searching for a driver I think on the laptop to come up as active .Tried to update the driver and HP site showed the product I had bought new was out of warrantyThe serial # on the box and the serial # on the product did not match. Something fishy with the order I had placed and the product received from the vendor

Monitors will flicker
Don’t recommend. This dock will cause dual monitors to flicker continuously every 15 minutes on and off.

Avoid. Stopped working after a month
Bought in April. Stopped working in June. Wouldn't turn on despite following troubleshooting steps on website. Expensive and not worth it. Can't return since it's past return date.
